I am kind of tired of getting messages in my mailbox selling carries for this or that when I post in lfg. They look computer generated- like spam... is there a way to make it stop?

2 RepliesI report every single one. It’s the biggest joke that Bungie won’t do anything about this. It destroys the game.
-
22 RepliesAllo there, Bungie and the community Ninjas are always working on this issue. Please report any that you get and they will be dealt with.

They need to send cease and desist to the websites honestly. It violates bungie tos and they do it alot. They harass players. It really is unacceptable that this is allowed. Free to play accounts need to have a restricted ability to post. Join, sure. But being able to post should be restricted for a week or two.

12 RepliesFully intended by Bungie. They're getting at least $40 from each account that spams. And for some people that make $2-3k a weekend, that's nothing to them. It's just Bungie taking their cut.

1 ReplyThey on YouTube ads too

1 ReplyLast week someone sent me a coupon code for 10% off from my first Garden of Salvation recov purchase. I'm sorry but I can complete my Garden runs myself. If someone want the coupon code, hit me up lol

Legit every time I try get a raid fireteam I get a message for a paid carry and they won't stop sending me them

1 ReplyEvery time I look at the lfg section on Xbox it’s filled with paid carries nonstop and it’s always dummy accounts that post which is annoying because when you get rid of one another 5 pop up.

1 ReplyHow about the Sherpa website ads in Ifg? Those should be easy to catch and block if you had tools. I shouldn't have to keep reporting the same looking post every single time from diff users.
-
The spam messages are very annoying.
-
I report them all.
-
Bungie has no intention of removing them. Even if they wanted to, they're not capable enough.
-
Exactly, it’s absurd how many lfg groups are for paid carries and how many spam messages are sent out. I thought the whole point of preventing free to play players from making a fireteam was to reduce the amount of spam in lfg, but it hasn’t reduced it in the slightest. So f2p players don’t have that feature and the spam is still here.

2 RepliesBungie and its Ninjas are constantly banning these people. The problem is as soon as they get banned, they make new accounts to spam from. It's a problem of never ending new spammers. Bungie tries but they never stop with the fake accounts and the spam posts. Sometimes it's even legit accounts spamming for services.

1 ReplyI get at least 4 of these a week. Sometimes I respond saying F no, or go to he||😂. It’s amazing how many times people will send this crap to advertise something that Bungie is supposedly against. But I’m not sure how Bungie can stop this unless that said individual is reported by another player. Because it is against the rules for them to intervene on a conversation, as it goes against a right of speech.

1 ReplyEdited by Salvation’s High Priest: 7/10/2022 8:08:52 AMThere are tons of these in the Xbox-built in LFG. Would say report as best as you can. The ninjas will be on your side when you’re reporting em on the app.

Just add a mailbox rule 🤷♂️
