Whether it be hand cannons, shotguns, fusions, snipers. Something has to always take the crown. Get used to it. I ALWAYS stay at a distance so fusions and shotguns can't kill me. It's easy to do and saves you alot of pain. And shotgun apes can't do anything cause if they try to close the distance, your primary will melt them in the process.

Right now, fusions are simply better shotguns than actual shotguns, beating them in intended fusion range and in intended shotgun range due to shotgun inconsistency with actually killing. The nature of a fusion forces the average player to not push because they suck with pushing. That’s why you often come across them crouched back in a good distance where your shotgun will be ineffective, and where your primary weapon will simply not kill them quicker than the fusion can go off. Overall, they promote a degenerate playstyle where people sit back, never challenge, don’t use primary and simply wait for the opponent to push for the fusion to map the opponent. It’s whatever though. These same players still get rolled when you start playing around the fusion (staying further back than the fusion’s optimal range and primarying them or sniping them). Using a fusion will net you easy kills, but it won’t change how bad you are at the game if you actually are bad.
