Its like that on purpose, its bungie way to make you keep playing because if you had no cap then you wouldn't need to waste time farming materials ever again. Its the same for blue engrams, bungie could remove them entirely but they don't cause they its convenient for them to keep some trash loot in the loot pool thats able to drop from all sources aka its filler content so you have to keep running that activity for whatever gun or armor piece your going for.

2 RepliesThere shouldn't be a cap at all.

#NoCap

1 ReplyPlease let me trade in finest matterweave for enchancement core for a 3-1 cost or something, idk why they’re dropping instead of an enchancement core every once in a while

2 Repliesi think glimmer should have no cap. i will farm out 1 billion glimmer tomorrow if that ever happens
-
Glimmer cap yes. Upgrade module cap?? Lucky you, I don't think I've ever had more than 10 of them and they get spent in no time at all.
-
10 RepliesI've had Prisms and golf balls in postmaster on 3 characters for over a year now. Now ascendant alloys are choking it up as well. Most players are capped on a lot of materials and they just get deleted when earning more. The worst part is having to dismantle "legendary" currencies and materials to accept rank up rewards from vendors... are you kidding me? Deleting items to accept rewards for time invested is a slap in the face.

1 ReplyYes please. Plus, it kills me they make me pay to store my stuff in collection. I like to store my ghosts, scooters, and ships. I do pretty well on room 460/600. But still. Go back to D1 when they had on wall (shaders, emblems, ships...etc.) and I can retrieve for FREE --MY STUFF!!!

increase every cap
-
3 RepliesGet rid of the module cost to switch element affinity on armor as well. This game would be so much better without all these unnecessary caps and costs for things. Destiny 2 is ultra casual yet they have some of the stuff as if it's a super hardcore MMO. It makes no sense.

I really wish they went back to the old system since upgrade modules have pretty much always been an unnecessary middle man. Most of the time they are less convenient than just directly using the materials to infuse, with the only benefit being that now you don’t have to worry about which resource a gun needs (which is a really small problem with how easy it is to get a specific resource). Idk I’m hella sleep deprived

2 RepliesI think they should also re do EVERYTHING. Vault should be able to be used anywhere. Loadouts. Postmaster should be able to be used anywhere. Inventory needs to be increased SIGNIFICANTLY for this change. Engrams should have WAY more slots then just TEN. Blues. Have an option to delete them. Prioritize more important items in the postmaster. Etc. A complete quality of life change needs to happen.

1 ReplyI would actually like a more reliable way to dump gimmer so I can turn it into legendary shards or something.
-
They need to either increase or remove caps on the majority of our materials. I understand they think it's going to get people to use said materials, but it's not. People will use them when they feel like it, not cause of a cap. Until then, people just want to play and it's annoying to have materials taking up space at the postmaster, in the vault (looking at you red borders), not being able to collect rewards from vendors, etc, because you are at your material cap.

What do you even need glimmer for these days?
-
I'm not sure about this, I have nocompetences in game developing or similar stuff, but I guess that the reason why Bungie have caps for almost every currency or material in the game is to avoid possible bugs and glitches. I believe this because of how rudimental and outdated the inventory and the Vault systems feel. I might be wrong tho, this is just a supposition.

5 RepliesBunigie: sounds great. We will double all caps and double all material requirements for upgrades, bounty purchases etc

1 ReplyAt this point, the cap needs to be 99,999,999,999,999…

Edited by SynK Deagle: 6/29/2022 5:12:28 PMDoubt they will unfortunately, personally I think glimmer is fine but usually at the beginning of new seasons I run low on modules but I have enough resources to buy more.
