I hope to get an answer on this because, well... I never get answers on here.
I have no idea how to fix this. After removing a paging file from my E Drive, Destiny 2 has completely ceased to properly work. I have verified game files, I have restarted my computer, I have checked for driver updates, I have checked for Windows updates. Nothing is working.
I have no idea what is going on. Destiny 2 loads, works normally, then freezes, then steam crashes. Why does Steam crash? No idea. Ram usage is below maximum (by 4GB), GPU usage is normal, CPU usage is normal, drive usage is normal. Nothing seems wrong, but the game crashes.
I am going crazy.
Edit: uninstalled and reinstalled Steam, Reinstalled Destiny. Going to test later today.
Also Chrome stopped working, weirdly. The problem may be outside D2.

Edited by Rush: 5/24/2022 1:57:46 PMI had the exact same issue this week... I've also had to verify the game's integrity three times. I have other games on the drive on Steam which are working fine, so it's not a general problem with the storage. They only started following the Maintenance period a few days ago, so I think Bungie broke something to fix something else.

I get this as well on Xbox. Haven’t had it happen in a while except for recently in Lightblade GM and that’s it.
