Season 17...RISE OF REVOKER.....
Seriously Bungie if power level doesn't matter anymore in the vast majority of PvP next season and you are removing all special ammo scavengers how do you not see a weapon that can mostly bypass the ammo economy as being an issue? This along with the buffs to short zoom scopes sounds like a problem in the making. Virtually anyone that want's to snipe will be using this gun to get around the special ammo nerfs.
How did you all not think of this?
And you can just buy it in the Tower kiosk to make matters worse.

1 ReplyI'm gonna say this as a lot of players seem to be afraid of Mountaintop. Don't be it trades aoe for a faster less accuracte shot that punishes you greatly in the air on average you'll see 30-60 damage with it the best part in my opinion is punishing snipers who stand still 24/7

7 RepliesReally revoker is more worrying to you? I mean sure miss and get the bullet back is good no doubt that's a nice perk but if they're missing shots anyway you'll just kill them lol. I'd be concerned about mountain top since it's pretty much point and click and massive velocity

1 ReplyGood point. I would add mountain top as a concern. My guess is Bungie will “monitor” the numbers, “listen” to streamers and read reddit comments then decide to remove those sunset weapons or make them exotic.

6 RepliesDon’t forget Mountaintop. One of the ways they nerfed it was to give it worse in air accuracy, but next season they’re removing in air inaccuracy.

For anyone whose doesn’t know, shooting a barricade with a sniper instantly one bangs it, and counts as a miss for revoker, so you get you bullet back every time you delete one.

Long as it doesn't hurt the Trials experience, why should they care? Whenever Trials is a thing, PvP AND PvE tend to suffer greatly for it.

I used revoker for a couple games and it is still super good. The changes to sniper scopes will make it even better. And with the scarcity of special ammo it will gain more value. I believe it has the lowest zoom scope in the game. It's a modified ambush scope from d1, it takes flinch very well and the 98 range gives it a great accuracy cone.

If they’re smart, Bungie will disable the use of old Pinnacle weapons in Iron Banner.

5 RepliesI don't think a lot of people will use it, I rarely match people who use sunseted weapons, but it is going to be an issue for sure. Right now people still can use it in control, but I don't remember the last time someone actually using it
