Getting weasel code disconnects in Korean PC room
Hi all,
I'm visiting family in South Korea and am occasionally playing from a PC room here, originally i always play from Belgium. Lately i've been getting disconnects with the error code 'weasel'. This never happened to me before.
After a search online i read that this error code appears, among others, if the game thinks you're running cheats or hacks. I've never hacked on any game before and i always get the error code after logging into the game world so i know i'm not banned. However i'm concerned as these PC room computers have various software running in the background (to order drinks or snacks and such). I'm concerned that the game is flagging my account for hacking or cheating while i'm playing in these PC Rooms. I haven't logged onto my account after i realized this as i'm scared i may get banned. I've got a lot of hours and emotional attachment to my account.
Can someone confirm if the game is flagging my account for hacking? or is it simply to do with connectivity issues.

2 RepliesWeasel due to hacking and the like is caused when a ban is applied. When a ban is applied, the error code received as the player is kicked from the game world is Weasel. Since you're not receiving a Not So Fast message upon logging in, then no, you are not banned. Your Weasel error is caused by a connection problem between your device and the servers. Please check the Networking and Troubleshooting articles for assistance. You might need to talk to the establishment you're playing in about port forwarding and the like if they have higher security in place that might be blocking your connection now.
