Exotic glaive pattern drop rate
The drop rate is ridiculously low. Bungie should have made it a quest for all 3 glaives. Please fix this!

Another reason why people seem to drop off this game......horrible drop rates and not just for the glaives. And why do we have to "farm" the wellspring for so long to get 1 pattern. Absolutely ridiculous. Bungie doesn't care. If they did, a dev would have commented on this thread or they would have fixed the drop rate. As long as they are getting your money they don't care. They really need to start listening to the layers when it comes to these sorts of issues. I have done 20 runs today trying to get the pattern for my Warlock Glaive and still nothing. C'MON BUNGIE, DO BETTER!!

32 runs in the last 2 days and still no drop!! Think I'm getting close to a 100 wellspring in total, trying to get those glaive patterns! I might start crying if I have to do more runs :(

Drop rate is a Joke , I farmed the legendary wellspring for a solid week, 8 to 10 runs a day, and you guessed it Nothing, nada, zip, zero, zilch , A complete waste of time, I'm convinced the patterns dont exist.

1 ReplyI did it on all 3 character (till the forge weapons part) only for Bungie to give me the middle finger for my time. Utterly disrespectful to the players as they just wasted their time for 1/3 gain, and then they have to audacity to make us grind for them. Progress wasn't shared across characters like other quests (ritual weapons etc).

Agreed. I've also done 10 Heroic missions, Ascendant Alloys dropped for me = ZERO

Yeah, drop rate is beyond bad, especially considering that they suck anyway. I ran about 40 Wellsprings since I completed the quest for the first one before I had a pattern drop. Probably take that long to get the last one too.

They really are awful... It goes to show just how bad glaive will probably be considered after this season is over... Can't believe they just nerfed them, if anything they need to be buffed and have their mechanics reimagined.

I joined a master wellspring the other day for a pinnacle drop then boom, the titan exotic glaive dropped. i farmed my butt off for weeks for red bordered throne world weapons but 0 exotic pattern dropped now it just dropped. i guess the less you think of it, the more it will drop

4 RepliesI agree! I farmed both days over an hour on Saturday and Sunday and got absolutely nothing. I then wasn't sure if I needed to be on my Hunter to get the Hunter Glaive pattern as I was playing on my Titan.

Please fix this![/quote] They really aren’t that great - I use mine only because of the grind invested in it lol Better builds involve the legendary glaive for melee and an exotic primary in my opinion. I get it though - it sucks they are a random drop after the first. They do drop though - just make sure you have at least the legendary one and you’ve completed the story missions on all players…

i have been farming for those with no result. i agree. quest for three, rng for last 2 is not working so well. also we need some bounties related to wellspring.
