1 Replyeverything is a hidden passage Always jump off cliffs to find secret treasure Blood builds are weak and not viable at all for end-game

3 RepliesAlso, take a bag of Doritos, put them in a bowl. Now take Mountain Dew and pour it in the same bowl, sprinkle some G-fuel on top. You are now a pro gamer

1 ReplyUnless you’re a pro Mountain Dew gamer you should probably keep in mind that having a good amount of health/defense is going to make life easier. I see people all the time who have all the glass and none of the cannon.

1 ReplyTry to decide what sort of build you want to go with (strength, dex, mage, hybrid) and allocate your points accordingly. Until then it’s never a bad idea to pump vigor and endurance. Take your time and leave no stone unturned. Try your best to remember and exhaust all npc dialogue. Some have very useful items in their quest line, and some of them are very involved though worth the effort. Don’t worry too much about using smithing stones early on to upgrade weapons you think you’d like using. Weapon upgrade scaling far outweighs the weapons associated stat. Eventually, you’ll be able to buy the smithing stones from an npc. Most of all, enjoy! This game is a masterpiece.

3 RepliesEdited by Ion, Disciple of Melvin: 3/20/2022 4:17:39 PMWhat I learned after my 1st Bloodborne run: - HP and stamina are safe investments up to a certain point - don’t risk getting a couple more hits in - never enter a boss expecting to beat it 1st try - know stat soft-caps - starting currency is meaningless - try to learn something every time you die - no such thing as BS shots, it’s almost always TSLAYP - don’t be afraid to take a break every now and then - if a note tells you to jump off a cliff so to get hidden loot, trust it

9 RepliesVigor. Make sure to level that up as you go. Trust me, you do not want to be fighting with a health bar smaller than your sword.

5 RepliesThere’s tons of stuff in the beginning that’s fairly easily missed but essential for success. Buy the crafting kit. Go back to the church where you got the crafting kit at night to get the spirit bell. On console you can bind items more quick items to the D pad. Just hold triangle or Y and then press the corresponding direction. Go south first (past the bridge of sacrifice) if you’re having a hard time. That area is kind of supposed to be your confidence boost after the castle hands you your rear. (Margit will probably murder you. This is the game’s subtle way of telling you to explore elsewhere first)

3 RepliesBe patient. Learn and study enemy attack patterns, especially bosses. Rushing in is death.
