Would be awesome if I can put a waypoint on the map instead of having to open it repeatedly to see if I’m in the right place. Not a big deal but would make exploration easier

4 RepliesWriting code is hard, especially when your studio has an open bar and attending political protests is mandatory.

26 RepliesYou have to think like a Bungie executive and game developer. If it makes the gamer's life easier, it will not be included. The longer you waste your time in the game, the better for them. The idea is to keep the game overcomplicated so they can keep you in stagnation wasting your time over and over again. That has always been the goal. At least that's what you feel the goal is when playing this broken game. To slow you down and make you weak without you noticing it. Stagnation! 😂😂😂 Speaking of waypoints. That technology has been implemented in videogames for decades now. Decades! But you probably won't see it here! By the way, if you need direction in-game, ask Xur. He will probably say his will is not his own! 😂😂😂 Stagnation! 😂😂😂 Broken!

We asked for this in D1 on the Forums, after the Beta was complete but before the game shipped. Nothing ever happened, unfortunately.

2 RepliesNumber 1…. Make it so

1 ReplyA compass would be nice as well. You know like every single game has had since the 1980s?
-
This is something I have wanted for a long time. Especially today trying to find the chests and lost sectors in the throne world.
-
Been saying this since D1. Fallout does it and it's so nice.

Ping system.

1 ReplyThe game definitely needs this feature. It would be incredibly helpful for fireteams exploring the map to pin-point locations for chest locations, enemies (such as high-value targets and/or an ongoing event not covered by public events). It would also be useful to have the ability to ping the location/map for help or to target specific enemies. Nothing worse when playing as a solo player or in a fireteam when you could do with some help from your fellow guardians as a boss continues to destroy you multiple times.

I thought the same thing this would be really cool and extremely helpful

We honestly should've had a Minimap for Patrol Zones specifically And yeah I hate opening up the map often but that usually stops after nabbing the Region Chests
-
That would be great. Today I was looking for region chests and had to do that 5 to 10 times lol.
-
It is called additional content when you have to sparrow to the far reaches of each zone.
-
If you mean for LS, they made it fairly easy to find on Mars. The planetary chests were a little tricky, but weren't impossible. I find some of those reveal balls are a little hard to follow in certain areas
-
Because it's not really needed in the grand scheme of things. We follow our waypoints based on the quests we are following. The idea of "exploring" patrol zones is really not there. Eventually you know maps by the back of your hand and just sparrow around to each public event. The only mysteries we really have are lost sectors.
-
While it could be handy, our maps are rather simple in that we cannot switch between levels. With all the verticality in the new maps a marker might not be as useful.
-
Better yet, we have crucible radar, why not small map radar. Toggled on/off and adjusted to your size preference and location on your hud. Would be great if we could customize our on screen HUD, and display the info we want, and don’t want.
-
No idea why they haven’t done this yet. It’s been a pretty common mechanic in RPGs for years at this point and makes all the sense in the world for an open world game.
-
1 ReplyPeople have been asking for this for a long time. It would be great QOL improvement for the game.
-
I would love this. I was just thinking this the day WQ dropped. Would be really helpful.

Specially for looking for the Lucent Moths, Deepsight locations, and Lost Sector points. 100% agree!
