You know funny thing about Savathun's Song
I remember saying way back when that Taeko-3 was actually Savathun leading fireteams of Guardians down on Titan to be drained of their light. The clue being that "Taeko" was communicating with us despite the Hive barriers blocking all communication.
Even early on you start to see the experiments going on, with the capturing of Void Light.

1 ReplyOh, and if you counted the Light charges/crystals for each Guardian & Ghost one each, there were only 16 total, not 18 if you could assume "several fireteams" meant 3 fireteams of 3 guardians each. That's a Guardian and Ghost missing.
