Microsoft is canceling production of Xbox One consoles
I’ve been Xbox One S ever since it released, even when the new ones came out. I guess it’s time to finally get that pc I wanted. Anything I should know like as I’ve or tips for pc’s?

I don’t really see the problem with this, they would be selling them at a loss since nowadays you’d be able to find a console on any sales website such as eBay, amazon or Facebook market place for a cheaper price. They may be pre owned, but people would often choose those over a factory new console, even if the new consoles are sold at discount. Even the new consoles are being sold at a loss, so doing so with the older consoles would be a bad plan.

Gamersnexus is fairly trustworthy for hardware reviews. Gamersnexus and Buildzoid team for PCB analysis if you care about that. But uh... just how the market is right now, people might care about that less. Like beggars cant be choosers, unless you're going for an attrition strategy... which.... is also a difficult spot to be in. Keep a 6-pack on deck. Try not to have a stroke looking for parts/builds/etc

So, I don’t actually know anything about this,…but if they are cancelling X/S production for the purposes of ramping up Series X production to meet next Gen demand I’m all for it.

Edited by SomarYNot: 1/14/2022 2:23:00 PMI know this is a dumb move they shouldve focused on selling more Xbox one x and updated it to run series x/s games, now the price of series x just went up a $1,000 and scalpers are still buying them all up, but you can get your hands on a series s at Walmart the console nobody wants cause no disk drive BTW if you don't have money for a series x or a PC might want to look into GFN or Stadia

3 RepliesOn the one hand there are a lot of games on the Playstation I'd love to play, some of which are exclusive. On the other there are just as many on the PC I'd also love to play that are too much for a console to handle. And on the third skeletal appendage coming from the exoskeleton I've grafted over my spine are all the other things I could do with the money I save not spending it on a console or PC. I'm leaning towards that last one.
