TRIALS without FREELANCE mode = Big Failure
Trials Labs last week was Excellent
Trials this week is straight garbage again. Being matched against top 1-3 % while on my team having top 60 and 70% players.
This week is awful..straight almost every match there are cheaters/hackers present. They don't take cover just run towards the opponents shooting and hitting every fk bullet.
Last weekend during Trials Labs I havent encountered any cheaters and went flawless on all 3 characters.
This week during normal trials mode I am getting pretty much 0-5 every match.
And then you hear these crybabies complaining about Freelance mode that they are matched with bad players....well how bad is this then?
This Trials mode fails big time

Well 0-5 again...checking opponents stats...
They are all 1% top Trials players where I am 100% sure these are blatant hackers
80% headshots on a handcannon? 90% headshots on a sniper?
Yeah sure with cheats is easy
Trials Labs = Freelance needs to be the standard

Again...there is no taking cover just instantly showing up and one shot you
Checking their steam profiles there are plenty of comments that these dudes are cheating in Destiny 2
Again, this Trials mode is the worst of all

again...being matched with 2 players that are literally 0.1 and 0.5% top players in trials carying a player being top 36%
How is that matchmaking?
Freelance needs to be permanent!
[Final Update]
Last weekend I played 64 trials matches using the regular trials matchmaking
Regular trials mode :
- 64 matches and got not further than 4 wins once
- running into many cheaters or stacked teams
- witnessed so many AFK or ragequitters after losing 2 rounds (being run over by cheaters/stacked teams).
- didnt reach more then 4 wins
- witnessed the worsed teamplay for 3/4 of the matchmaking
vs
Freelance trials mode :
- Played 46 matches to reach 3 x flawless ( 1x each character)
- Didnt face any cheaters or stacked teams
- Didnt witness any ragequitters, only one match a player was AFK for 1 round
- Did see solid teamplay from at least one other player
- I got a golfbal after winning one more match after my flawless card
How so is REGULAR trials mode better than FREELANCE mode?

1 ReplyFreelance week - got my first flawless, awesome feeling! Regular week - get stomped by 3 stacks, cheaters, etcc Freelance week comes back - another flawless! Regular week again - wan’t to throw my controller in the garbage… Whenever it’s freelance i don’t run into alot of cheaters doing recovs or carries. It’s actually more doable for average gamers.

1 ReplyYup! Freelance I can get 7 wins easy but regular play with randoms against 3stacks is a joke. Everyone says get a team🤔😂. Yeah, no one will pick you up if your not flawless or have a 2+ kd. Sure you can pick up a team where the other two teammates can maybe get one or two kills the entire game.

5 RepliesFor starters I’d like to say I agree that freelance needs to be around a lot more if not every weekend. That said: I highly doubt you ran in to cheaters, and I strongly advise you assume players with high accuracy or fast reactions are cheating. All that accomplishes is frustrating you and stopping you from improving.

Do people not realize at this point in the season the trials player base is quite small compared to the first couple weeks or so of it? Of course the average player will have a harder time with trials when the pool of players gets smaller. I’m garbage at pvp and yea it sucks but that’s the way it be for now.

Just think for a second that maybe.... juuuuuust maybe.... there are people who are good at the game and just plain and simply better than you. Git gud or git out.

Edited by Mister Wrecked: 1/9/2022 11:41:56 PMIt's not all easy running over solos for those of us with teams. My team fell at the gates 4 or 5 times, not to mention numerous resets on games 1-5. We even got stomped by teams of solos on duos, and fell at the gates to a cheater who advertises that he's cheating on his Steam profile. Did we finally make it through? Yep. Was that final card pretty heavy on solo opponents? Yep. But getting to that final card was no picnic.

1 Replyi'd say i'm an average d2 player, not terrible, definitely not good. trying to get into a half decent trials team is hellish. i have just under a 1.0 kd in trials which considering almost every game ive played has been solo against stacks (apart from freelance) isnt too bad i think. People can obviously request what they want when putting their fireteam together, but theres very little middle ground. its all just wanna play from 0.3 kd's or must have 1.8 or higher etc. im just not doing it anymore unless its freelance.

6 RepliesThat's literally trials now. Nobody but top players even touch it. The put matchmaking on it to feed those guys so streamers have content. Its why 3 stacks are consistently matched against 3 solos. Gotta double carry those kids that watch their stream smfh
