If so why?
I think having to use a bow or sword for overloads that regenerate health and spawn just as they are almost killed and then the exotic armor is either no good or too good so it gets nerfed a reason not too. Plus RNG you may not get the exotic.
But i like to try out new exotics so i give it a go anyway. How about you?

4 RepliesI only do them to get the exotic. After I have the exotic I do not continue to run them. No way in hell should it take 27 lost sectors to get the exotic.
-
Sometimes, when I'm on the Destiny hype early season. But this Season I've either been really unlucky doing them or Bungie fiddled with drop rates. After having a multiple hour dry spell, it completely turned me off from farming them
-
Once I get the new exotics liked behind them? No.
-
Yes. Three characters at the very start of the season to get the exotics and then not again until the next season.
-
4 RepliesI did around 10 of them yesterday and got one exotic drop. They're not worth the time and effort.
-
They’re a good way to roll for a more limited pool of exotics. You want a new roll of Phoenix protocols? Wait until chest day and run it. And some of them are really easy to farm.

Because I want to get a specific exotic armour piece that won't drop normally... Its always good to have some good stat armour.

1 ReplyWhere’s the “No, because RNG loves me and I have every exotic in the game” option?
-
They're easy af with competent loadouts.
Drop rates are abysmal though
-
Nope. Have them all, so there’s really no need for me to do any

1 Replythey drop almost nothing... you can consider yourself happy if you get 1 bad 40-50+ stat rolled Exo you don't need or it is so bad you DON'T Want to use it Farming Nightfalls is more fun and you get better stuff... Lost Sectors give you a handful Cash, Planet Mats and a slim chance of an Exo... <not worth the time running them TBH

3 RepliesI do 10 - 15 at the beginning of each season to get the new exotics.

I did last season. These new exotics don't thrill me so I haven't gone after them yet. Maybe if I get bored.
-
I only did them to get the exotics I didn't have. Now that I have them, they don't exist to me and I most likely will never do them again.

If things are going slow (like Monday mornings) I’ll run a legendary LS just to test anti-champ loadouts, maybe get a better roll on an exotic. Most of the moon LSs are a bit too -blam!- though.
