Stop dropping new exotics in lost sectors only
These lost sectors are in no way shape or form “fun” or “rewarding” they’re frustrating and time consuming. We paid money for the dlc with this loot and you have it locked behind a dumb game mode no one enjoys playing.
Please start dropping gear in raids, dungeons, nightfalls and other activities again.

I find them fun at first but after 15 runs, not so fun. I also don't enjoy being forced to use a certain load out. I can't imagine being a new player and having to wait days, weeks or even a month to get the right mods. There needs to be a better way to get mods. Daily/weekly rng mods fr vendors to make a build is absurd

raids have their own exotics, and gear. Dungeons are no less or more fun thann Legend LS's, NF's have their own collective loot, so what you're asking for is quite redundant. Most of the exotic armor in the LS's are useless anyways. I only got them because I am a collector. I work on catalysts for weapons I never use. LS's are definitely fun and rewarding and implements RNG just like the other forms you mentioned. If you find them frustrating, then it's more of a matter of skill. People complain about timers, but even sub-par players with the mods equipped can make it through in no more than 10 minutes for even the most challenging encounter. If they don't lock it behind a timer and in LS's, then there's no motivation to do them, so it's pretty ingenious of Bungie to do so. Before all of this was a thing, back when Shatterthrone was the only dungeon, many exotics, like catalysts were all RNG in open world. Meaning, there was no way to farm it without just running around and doing random activities. It's a lot easier this way. It's pretty much hand delivered to you

1 ReplyOpening it up to fireteams would be more enjoyable to me. Before the git gud scrubs chime in I have all exotics. Playing with friends makes the grind not seem so bad. The old saying misery loves company fits well.

I don’t mind them being in lost sectors. I do mind doing them 30 plus times in a row sometimes and not getting the armor piece. Or getting an old exotic that I already have.

1 ReplyThe last 5-6 legendary lost sectors I’ve done only gave me blues, even did a couple masters. I still have 6-7 exotics to get and the Telesto Catalyst. I don’t know what to say at this point, except I gave up on getting those exotics. 😒

2 RepliesI got omni at 1320 on my first run. Took me a grueling 6 minutes to finish. I had to request time off from my boss because that took me SO LONG I couldn't keep a full time job and farm last sectors. I haven't been able to drop another 10 omnis though so the game obviously hates me for having a job. Woe is me Woe Woe Woe.

IMO the reward for completing a master lost sector should never be only glimmer. Now, throw in some enhancement cores and we’d be in business!

This Bungie isn't the Bungie that created D1 that they created gear/weapons for the activities in the game to create that incentive to run the activities. When money becomes more important than creating a quality type of game, you will have what we have now and things will be getting a lot worse with this new Bungie. It's a shame because they don't even attempt to explore the game's potential that the game hasn't even evolved in 7 years.

28 RepliesThe vast majority of lost sectors in the entire game only take mere minutes to complete. The fact that you’re guaranteed to get the new exotic on the first drop, I’d say that’s a pretty good deal. Stop being -blam!- stupid and do the simple, easy lost sector a few times each season.

Since it's the only source for new exotics they should be the only thing that drops from it. None of this glimmer only crap.

If we had 4 sectors with each available a day, that would be more tolerable, and would incentivize me to actually play on a daily basis. As for the solo only thing, it’s just annoying, and causes burnout extremely fast on repeated runs.

1 ReplyI think it's fine, sometimes they are frustrating, but it gives Lost Sectors a purpose. I think it would be cool if they added Grandmaster Lost Sectors that you could do with a fireteam and give a similar drop chance for Exotics that way.

I am just sick of waiting on the right lost sector with the right modifiers & armor piece, not a fan of changing my build to much because it takes to long. And with the current mod's I often focus on 1 element for 2 or even 3(osmosis) of my weapons. Also not a fan of planning when to play.....

1 ReplyFor me, lost sectors are a one time run. Recycling it for exotics is just stale. If you want to feel like exotics are a special reward, lost sectors ain't the way to do it. At least not the way for my playstyle. Recycling content and running it in a wheel is not good gaming. It never is. It's cheap and boring. Just what the game feels now.
