By Bungie gatekeeping their streamers to be able to run through solos and casuals, it seems like all of them left already.
Without the flawless pool, myself, a top 9 % elo player sitting in diamond with a 1,53 kd (2,08 kda) for trials ALL SOLO STATS, so i am not bad by any means, i lost 18 games and won 6 so far this weekend and my kd dropped to 1.06.
Your matchmaking is hot garbage. You match me with 1310 players and people who have a .38 kda and also often a missing teammate against absolute sweat stacks the whole time. Bungie, think for a second. The vast majority of players are casuals and average players revive the playlist. By gatekeeping your streamers and sweat stacks by listening to their "feedback" that the flawless pool is bad, you scare off the vast majority from trials again. LET THEM WORK FOR THEIR STUPID CARRY OFFERS.
And no, activating it on sunday reset, when the weekend is already over for the eastern area of the planet, is not the way.
How can a company not learn from their mistakes at all. You revive the playlist, people have fun for 3 weeks. Obvioulsy casuals will leave slowly after getting their loot. And yet you scare off the remaining casuals by putting them against stacks who went flawless 200+ times constantly. DO SOMETHING or the playlist is dead in 4 weeks, only having sweats in it again. NOT FUN.
EDIT: I attached a picture of one of my teammates i got today. We faced a 3 stack with 200+ flawlesses.

Match making is shite.. also went up against a cheater with infinity heavy every round (even before it had spawned or been used) and had aimbot

The Xbox on console lfg, it littered with postings for paid carries. It's disgusting. Why is someone from Bungie not monitoring that and working with Microsoft to instant ban the accounts. Then go back to week 2 settings. Otherwise player base going to keep tanking.

Edited by Vijil: 10/10/2021 1:08:34 AMWhy I play any game mode in Destiny. 1. It's fun 2. It's rewarding Trials for solos Fun? No getting -blam!- on by 3 stacks ain't fun. Trying to do it while carrying two potatoes is especially unfun. Rewarding? Only until you get what your chasing. Do I really need an adept Messenger? Not really. So what is there to entice solo players. You can't team us with like skilled guardians. You can't face us off against like skilled guardians. You can't reward us for more than a week or two. So why would a solo keep playing trials. Answer: they don't. This approach is unsustainable.

It’s a garbage game mode with the most garbage part of the community playing it. No loss.
-
1 ReplyPeople also have found ways around battle eye... so hackers are slowly coming back with their 5.00 kds 100% headshot kills and 0-1 losses on the week.
-
1. Wait till flawless pool? 2. Don't really know what you expected from randoms in THE endgame pvp mode lol. 3. Bungie aren't going to split the playerbase, make or find a team if you want lighthouse. 4. Bungie have stated solo que trials is for TRYING the mode. Trying =/= guaranteed success.

Im going to do a solo run today and i bet ill go 7-1 or 7-0 with a 3.0+ kd.

Lololololololololololololol

You haven’t explained why it’s gatekeeping, no one is purposely sitting at 7 wins exactly playing so the next guys cant go flawless. They are playing at 7 wins because of bungies stupid adept system which forces you to grind at 7 flawless wins (no loses) for a chance to get a meh adept roll because a god roll is so rare. They HAVE to play sweaty as a lose means they have to reset the card and spend more of their time playing trials. No one cares that your KD dropped, clearly YOU care about it so how about YOU get better. This “open” matchmaking everyone asked has side effects and that means that anyone not in a team to coordinate with each other is cannon fodder. Its the solo players fault that they lack a teammate for that match you mentioned as they decided to not get a 3 man team who they could coordinate and not leave midgame.

4 RepliesWORK SMARTER NOT HARDER. FLAWLESS POOL KICKS IN AT RESET TODAY DERRR

Edited by Astrosa: 10/10/2021 5:55:33 PMThat’s a problem for everyone not just solos I found that matchmaking is at its worst getting to three wins, and slightly better after but still not the best.

5 RepliesYou aren’t supposed to get flawless solo, you are only supposed to get the normal loot. Idk why it is so hard for you bad players to understand. If you are bad then you lose. Trials is not communism lmao.
-
3 RepliesThe flawless pool starts Sunday 10am pst, if you’re so bad at it just wait til then

It was never meant to be playable as a solo. The whole idea three weeks ago was to bait the casuals with some loot so the grinder would have some fresh meat. I got some loot the first week, few games the second and having seen the light have ignored Trials since as its matching solo players against three stacks by design. I said I would give it a go and I did .. and now I have had my fill. Leave it to the sweats. I'd rather play Gambit. *shudders*

3 RepliesThank god I grinded out everything I wanted early. Bungie should be in the dictionary as a verb, "to take a good idea and twist it into something very few people like." They just couldn't leave the original concept alone, and I'm just going to say it now that there's no way they'll ever make a live freelance Trials. It'll just magnify how badly broken the original concept of the scorecard is when the group trials is almost all sweats. The only way they'd get me back before the season resets is new rewards of , or (something I don't particularly believe in but who knows what they might do) add a way to get adepts that don't require flawless.

6 RepliesThe player pool is only 340,000. It will be interesting to see if people start playing on Sunday when the flawless pool is active. Basically, the casuals have left already.
-
Most 5-0's I've seen yet. Least fun I've had
-
100% agree with you. It’s already been proven they actually prioritise solos to vs teams for “solo improvements”
-
Certified LMAO moment
-
Bungie never said going into Trials solo was meant as a way to go Flawless. It was a way for players to see how Trials operates and get some swag.
-
18 RepliesHow is the weekend over at 1pm on Sunday? You still got at least another good gaming session in. My suggestion is wait till flawless pool is activated
-
That’s screenshot has nothing to do with you being a solo player…
-
1 ReplyEven quickplay is not playable solo. This season was much more lagged than ever before, and every day it's getting worse.

I mean if that KD is based only on the recent trials matches (4 trials weekends) then it’s not really been defined yet. Your kd will level out the more you play. My lifetime trials kd is a lot lower but I was also going flawless when trials was harder so on paper, who would you consider ‘better’? I’ve played solo since it’s been introduced and in my experience, it’s not what you should be doing if you care about winning and your stats. It’s more for those who just want the loot and in that regards it’s very rewarding. LFG still exists and you should try and team up if wins etc are your main goal.
