Bungie ruined it again
No reason to do Solstice armor since it requires Crucible (30 guardian kills). Making anything dependent upon Crucible ends it immediately for me if I have to get kills in it. Thanks for nothing yet again.
Update: with so many wonderful and friendly replies, it is time to move on. This was intended as feedback to Bungie, nothing more. There are other that avoid PvP. If too many others feel the same, Destiny may just fade away. That would be a shame.

Wait until you get to the having to do raid(s) part. Given the percentage of ppl that do raids, this will exclude a lot from completing the armour set.

1 ReplyJesus Christ, I can barely keep my KDA above 1 while hard crutching the meta, and I was able to get it done in 2 matches. It’s not hard. If you’re truly terrible at the game, aim for 3-5 kills and get it done in less than 10 matches. Even if you could only get 1 kill per match (which you should because supers) you could still get it done in a few hours of running matches. There is really no excuse. It’s a small amount of PvP that you have three weeks to complete.

People don’t mind going into 1-3 games to go tag people for assist…… I have a ton of PvE ONLY friends…… and they don’t care. Just saying from personal observation… Also go into Momentum while it’s here. You’ll have it done so fast you won’t even realize it’s done. (I believe it’s assist included)

I got it done in 2 matches, and I am a negative KD casual ,on PS5 It's not the end of the world ,use fusion rifles or shotguns , you will easily get kills on people trying to use primaries

[i]Oops, I did it again.....[/i] PVP for short stretches is reasonable. The problem is the horrible state that Crucible is in right now. Between the LAG, the CBMM and the poor team balancing....the experience in 6's right now is absolutely miserable.

Back in the days when I did crucible I got about 15-20 a match and I wasn’t the best nor the worst. So it’s not that bad. Just go do it and stop whining.

As a PvE main, 30 kills is easier to get and less time consuming than having to complete a full raid as part of the final step.

You dont have to do it all at once. Solstice is here for 4 weeks. I suck at pvp averaging 8 to 12 kills per match,15 kills if my team is mtched against a bunch of ding--blam!-. The only reason i even did this crap is cuz my wife wanted the T shirt (why i don't know) but did it anyway. If you want the armor then just sack-up and do whats required to get it.

Its an armor set that proves you play every activity. Just be glad it doesnt require trials and only needs 30 easy pvp kills.
