Stop making players play your bad PvP modes
Scorch Team is awful and broken, and whenever they come out with garbage like this they force the player base to participate through challenges and whatnot. Just stop. It wouldn’t matter if you released these buggy game modes if you don’t force your players to suffer through them.

What's forcing you to play Team Scorched? Just play Control instead if you want the pinnacle. Personally I love the game mode, dunno why everyone is so bad at it lol

I will never defend scorch or what Bungo has done to pvp but I’ll also never give you muppets a pass to say you’re forced to do anything in this game. It’s a ‘you’ problem if you feel you must do any challenge or activity in Destiny.

Who is forcing you and how are you being forced? Please don't respond saying to complete the challenge you are forced to do scorched. If you make the choice to complete a challenge yet dont like what's required but do it anyway then no one is forcing you other than yourself. If you have complaints then go talk to a mirror.

I don’t like the challenge tied to it either but o well. I honestly don’t understand what I’m seeing as well. I’m hitting close to others, but they don’t die even though I hear the indication that I hit them. Once I’m done with the 50 I will never set foot in it again. I do agree though. I despise having to do PvP to get things accomplished

The worst game mode I've ever played. The splash damage is completely random regardless if you charge your shots up, the hit detection is terrible to the point where I've hit people in the face/chest and I get nothing but they hit a wall 3 meters behind me and I'm dead.... I'm glad sunsetting is gone but if I could sunset just one more thing it would be Team Scorched.

Charged shots are the way to go. Scorched is not a difficult game mode....

Become Soldier embrace the rocket jumps. Those who impede progress across the map are just casualties of war.

2 RepliesI assumed this post was going to be about the stasis sidearm exotic quest.... which I would have agreed. Killing guardians in the crucible, while not super hard (I got it done in about 5-6 games) its still a pain in the ass. But, complaining about team scorch? really? That mode is the most fun I've had in the crucible in a long ass time. No abilities, no supers, no meta/op weapons... no stasis and no shotgun rushers... just rocket jumps and scorch cannons. Playing that last night was the first time I didn't give a damn about my kd because I was actually having fun and laughing when I died rather than getting salty cause I was frozen and teabagged.

It's a just4fun mode like most games have. Nothing more, nothing less. For once it's not a sweat fest. Even completed the fusion rifle ornament in this mode.

You think I wanted to get to gambit max rank, use a grenade launcher in pvp, do lost sectors, do proving grounds and battlegrounds on repeat, play trials in any capacity, and whatever else the shit was last season? It's a game with a lot of activities, they are going to try to get you to do all of them. If you don't want to, good news: the reward is literally bright dust and an emblem. You don't need to do it and if you choose not to you aren't missing anything at all.

a lot of folks dont like trying new things. i hate scorched, but ive got a dozen friends that never tried it until this season and love it. the kill requirement on the seasonal challenge is annoying, but i wouldnt remove it even though i hated scorched. instead id swap it out for a "complete x amount of matches of this game mode" type challenge, that way people still try new things but arent forced to spend more time in areas they struggle with. if someone is really good at scorched they could be done with the 50 in a single game, while someone who's really bad could take weeks, requiring kills is a bad way to force people to try new things but requiring participation is not.
