Why is everyone hating on the new seasonal armor?
It's because everyone is still angry about our favorite armors being sunset, so when a (one single) new armor set drops and it is not the very picture of style, of course we're gonna get upset.
Easy fix: remove armor sunsetting.
Edit: so I see that most of you would take one look at the title and then cast judgement even though you have next to no information. I see now how Bungie managed to snare so many of you into the hamster wheel grind and the Eververse pay trap.

4 RepliesEasy fix: Transmog. Which is coming this year. 1. Sunsetting armor is not negotiable. The utter unwillingness of this player base to hear and accept that this is a [i]basic[/i] aspect of loot games just boggles my mind. 2. Destiny players have the nasty habit of attacking unrelated parts of the game when they are mad at one part of it. So people are raging about Sunsetting and Stasis...so every part of the game becomes a target for their anger. It’s the forum equivalent of review bombing.

On the plus side we have universal ornaments. If it really looks as bad as everyone’s saying (I haven’t seen it yet), I’ll just ornament any piece I get that I don’t shard.

Imagine spending money on a battle pass where the cosmetics are usually the biggest draw and usually they are super cool looking and you get that stupid looking ancient India/China looking inspired armor. Seriously that armor looks incredibly dumb. Also on a side note that new cabal leader chick looks stupid also. Ppl need to stop giving bungie money cuz this is just sad.

Because AGAIN it's mostly hideous. The Warlock is just BAD. Seriously just sticking balls on top? It's up there with the Moon set for ugly. Hunter is mediocre with that redo of that ugly helmet from previous versions. Titan, actually, looks not bad. At least the shoulder pads are a bit less silly.

It has nothing to do with being salty about sunset armor It’s just really ugly armor ,and was memed within minutes of the trailers release ,it’s definitely the worst seasonal armor we have ever gotten Smiley Face,Conehead and 3 Balls lol

I'm just waiting to see what the ever verse armor ornaments will look like. Hopefully, they look just as good as the new trails armor.

1 ReplyThat armor set is just the worst with those helmets. Titan looks like a dunce cap, warlock finally has some b*lls and hunter? Not sure about the hunter look. But whoever is making trials sets, must not be the same person who does the seasonal stuff. There is no reason why all armor sets can't be classy except to entice players to use the cash shop. Just glad we have ornaments.
