The final gift for dawning was horrid
All that work for nothing new i was hopeing for something exlclusive but we get shit from eververse from 2 years ago and an exotic engram worst dawning ever

I agree, everyone was so hyped because the last time that a community quest happened we got a weapon returning from d1. But to have a random exotic that guardians already have is not only lazy it's ridiculously stupid. They could have had something great but this is just a disappointment and a waste of time .

I'm not gonna lie but I never contributed anything to the quest; Destiny 2 feels boring for me right now, and I'm a die-hard fan and will keep playing the game even if Bungie gets rid of stuff, so that's saying something.

I had Heart of the Inmost Light equipped, The engram gave me a worse stat Heart of the Inmost Light with a lower power cap, Dawning was kinda pointless other than giving me a few Avalanche Machine Guns which is recycled content. I had a fun time baking cookies for Riven, and then hopping to Last Wish, using the Wish Wall to use wish 7 to teleport to Riven and drop in and give him some Holiday cheer!

I'm not sure why it would be exclusive. All the dawning armor and other cosmetics from the past years were also available this year.

I all did is pick up bounties and play like normal. I gave Ikora, Shaxx, and Zavala a ton of cookies. I was going to give Saint some but after playing Trials for the first time last weekend, screw him. It was not much of a grind. I haven't received my gift yet but I am sure it will be minimal.

Story is they raided the Prison of Elders in the Reef. Got an Archon Priest. The Queen's bounty is high, so we know it's powerful. We need to hunt this thing down before they fully restore its soul.

The ascendant shard was nice and the aeon gauntlets I got had a good roll but I've had too many cold front drops to care about that gun. My expectations for the rewards were a sparrow or ship or an emblem so I couldn't really be disappointed 😂

I was expecting at least one of the missing exotics from the past season but instead of that I received Orpheus rig, an exotic that I have since year 1, this is utterly bullshit, why in the -blam!-ing earth would they do that? I mean all that work for literally nothing? Bungie is literally laughing at us right now and we are still playing their game after 6 years, I’m done with this game and with the fat ass -blam!- of Luke Smith

In that same amount of time I could have filled my postmaster with shards and gotten a crap ton of exotics just by doing nightfalls. Heck. Two nightfalls, an hour of my time max, might have rewarded me with DOUBLE the rewards this several week long event did.

I knew that it would be akin to an ascendant shard + some exotic. Still disappointed that there was nothing new. Good for new players though.
