This is from a Pvp perspective
Hunter: punishes you for playing into crystals, or grouping together. Has a super which is a worse blade barrage, has a gimmicky slow dodge which is only useful against apes or if using mask of bakris.
Titan: slides 20 feet with a shotgun, has an almost unkillable super, makes shattered crystals have even more range than hunter for the same effect, requires no verticality, are now the second fastest subclass in the game only second to top tree dawn, can literally fly now, stasis super feels like it lasts forever especially considering dying and respawning can still lead to you being killed by the same super multiple times, has made Antaeus wards and dunemarchers broken beyond belief, heart of inmost light removes all cooldowns practically, has killed every titan subclass in Pvp as everything is more powerful
Warlock: top tree dawn. celestial fire (50 metres of tracking and a melee ability), Icarus dash fastest ability in the game with an outrageously short cool down. Can play almost the entire game in the air
I am NOT saying hunters are weak and that there are not issues, and I truly believe stompies need a nerf for the amount of verticality they provide working with the stasis combo, and the crystals should have to be fully formed before you can break them or the damage should be exponentially less if not formed, but 1 good thing in a subclass tree does not warrant killing the class when titan stasis and top tree dawn are so much more powerful. If you are dying to the combo more than top tree dawns and sliding stasis Titans, you are trying to play the game like last season and have to accept it is not the same
I do feel for warlocks in some regards in that some nerfs go to far but it cannot be denied that more often than not nerfs needed to happen
Before people comment yes I play hunter most but I fear hunters a hell of a lot less than titan stasis and top tree dawn, because once a hunter has blown its load, it’s done for, Titans and warlocks go for the entire game. I also play titan and feel brain dead using stasis as it is to fast, to easy to use, and the hardest for people to counter

1 ReplyNope. The shatter mechanic is stupid. This is coming from a 5-year Hunter main. The fact that you can one-shot someone with a single button and ultimately not lose anything from it is stupid.

Top tree dawn doesn’t allow you to literally just freeze and one shot a person regardless of whether they’re in a super or not. As for behemoth, the slide is a bit silly but I don’t think it’s game breaking. Not to mention the fact that with stompees and bakris hunters have insane movement potential across all subclasses

And using top tree down to your advantage in pvp actually requires a lot more coordination than oh lemme press one button to get a wall aoe grenade that I can slam and one shot everything but behemoth super from 7m of range . But hey since we are discussing range , shurikens have no range falloff , and ricochet Since so many maps have convenient tight corridors, having a 40% slow which is the same as a death sentence in this games mobility based sandbox . Revenant gets 2 charges of it . They also have a slow on dodge as if the dodge wasn't already the best pvp class ability in the game , makes it impossible to move . Then there is the super. I will admit the super is slow moving but I'm tired of the stupid forgiveness the freezing kama gives from way too far away . They need to nerf the freeze aoe slightly and buff the tornado . A no cool down ( there is one but literally non-existent) shatterdive that can one shot 99% of supers is also very balanced ! I'm not.ignorant I know the grenade is the issue but there are fragments that increase grenade recharge too! Then they got by far the best pvp exotic this expansion too , imagine giving hunters a better blink ( yes it has a longer cd ) but failing to make the original blink more viable for us voidlocks. It doesnt end there ! This exotic somehow still transfers stasis class ability usage over so the shift isn't good enough to win trades , it slows too, and retains dodge abilities like reloading weapons or giving you instant melees near enemies ! Behemoth could see a slight reduction in super duration, or a slightly increased light attack energy cost , but it needs a longer duration since it's all melee and there really is minimal tracking if at all . At the end of the day , you will see revenant usage against basically every other class is through the roof. Those numbers will solidify a sizeable nerf to that class which it so clearly deserves .

Thanks for using your brain and speaking your mind to share your opinion Players still dying multiple times a game to smash combo really need to loot at their own play instead of trying to blame the game.

1 ReplyI’m sure most warlock mains can’t read, I did not say it does not need to be changed, in fact I mentioned a possible change. This is mostly addressing how 1 strong thing on hunter which can be done by titans is less of an issue than titan stasis and top tree dawn warlock. What roaming super is able to take out titan stasis? top tree dawn. What is the fastest super? ,top tree dawn. What is the strongest neutral melee ability? Celestial fire and titan stasis. Warlocks might feel like they get all the nerfs but isn’t that saying something? Some go to far yes but when you give a warlock crack, eventually they need to go to rehab. If the shatterdive combo is killed, then both titan stasis and top tree dawn need to be killed or toned down

Dawn and lock stasis are both very good. Titan stasis is just as good as good as hunters. The 3 are fairly balanced.

4 RepliesNah the hunter stasis is definitely more OP than Titan stasis. Throw grenade, slam, rinse repeat. It's too easy. Yes titans can do the same, but it's slower, less consistent, comes from the ground instead of the air. Hunter jump is just better. Then there's the slow on dodge which is strong AF all on its own, but almost unbeatable with mask of bakris. Add a cool down to the slam and idk what they would do about the slow ability on dodge. Titans didn't even get a good exotic this season. As for warlocks I can't believe people are still complaining about one of the only good warlock subclasses the other being stasis and it's arguably worse Dawnblade is good as.

13 RepliesHA. HA HA. Top tree dawn is all neutral game. You get a super that lasts a relatively short amount of time in relation to something like spectral that has basically no tracking. And top tree dawn does not have a 2000 damage grenade ground pound

4 RepliesA lot of the problem is exacerbated by the Whisper of Fissures fragment, which increases both damage and range of the shatter.

4 RepliesPretty much, Hunters have one thing going for them that's good while both Warlock and Titan has better aspects, super and can slot more fragment. Not to mention people forget that Titans can do same thing as Hunters by just sliding, but most Titan players eat too much crayons to ralize that.

I wasn't aware Top Tree DawnBlade could wipe an entire team and 1hk supers with a grenade and dive combo. Hell, even Phoneix Dive Eruption can barely kill people directly underneath you and that is a SUPER. 🙃

I watched someone use nothing but shatterdive the whole game. Only reason I did well against him is because I'm perfecting my scout rifle game. But he tried. Numerous times. He didn't even shoot. Like no. There is no excuse.

Even with the new down chorus helmet, top tree dawn blade super is hit or miss. I’d hit some one square in the body and they’d merrily hop away..if your standing still the melee will get you. Even that is hit or miss, I’d hit some one with all the bolts from the melee and take off their shields..

The ONLY thing I’d change with top tree Dawnblade is removing the secondary Icarus Dash. Have the cooldown be three seconds. There.
