Has Bungo screwed the pooch in just about every way possible on this dlc?
Bungo has dropped the ball into the infinite abyss, it cannot be picked back up. Burn it all and start over.

For once I’ll speak heresy. Hunters and titans got especially boned subclass wise. I genuinely think both need major buffs or tweaks. And I think that warlock is fine.

1 ReplyI don't know? The new patrol area is pretty kewl once you start exploring. Playing through the story once is petty good. Having to do it 3 times to unlock all characters seems daunting. I think they've made some small improvements, but having to grind out a bunch of powerful engrams to level up to play the new stuff is not kewl. I generally like leveling, but D2 has worn out core activities and I'm not sure how much I can continue to do boring weekly stuff to play a little bit of new content. A lot of people are under-leveled but the story pretty much assumes that you start at 1060. So really there is some griding to play through the story if you don't want to have a miserable time. When they introduce the new subclasses I don't know why you start with all the weakest stuff. Why not shine out of the box? I think an expansion should be weighed on what it releases with and what we've got so far is worth about $10.

5 RepliesIMO this game should have been left in Activision's hands especially knowing Bungie took 3 years to finally admit to themselves and the player base that they literally can not handle the game that it is way too much for them. It can't get any more clear than that that it's time for them to let this game go.

9 RepliesI actually deleted my warlock and titan and once I finish my powerful and pinnacle sources on my hunter I’m done for the week. I was very hopeful for this expansion but I’m not feeling the grind like I used to, thus why I deleted my two other characters. An expansion is supposed to be exciting, reward new weapons, etc. I’m still using weapons from the last season. No matter how much we complain Bungie has a road map laid out for the rest of Destiny 2 and they will stick to it. I encourage others to only play one character, do all the things you normally would, strikes, raids, etc and then when you’re done for the week go play another game. Plenty of games on the horizon with developers that care about their community.

Franchise is already dead. They couldn’t push out a third game so they gutted the second to make room to create a makeshift sequel. D2 will get its life support throughout the next two years and be dropped for their new IP

Edited by Guardian Dave: 11/16/2020 12:41:47 PMi dont mind the story. too short as usual though. lots of running around. not sure about the warlock stasis though. it doesnt feel as good as the hunter one, still waiting to get titan version. i hate the fact that all mg are sunset at 1060 save thunderlord, and they even removed another exotic mg from the exotic buy machine. there are supposed to be two new ones but not sure if exotic (no help for my hunter and warlock if so) and they are locked behind a raid and heroic dungeon anyways and due to the bungie ban policy and toxic raiders im not using LFG. they should have undone the sunset on mg if they were not replacing them with a legendary new one. sunsetting was a bad call in a game where even bungie now admit its the gear thats the important thing - or else why drop levelling and just keep 'gear power levels'? i like the new origin story. but there seems nothing to connect it to the europa story now. maybe my titan (who i deleted to redo the origin story as if new) has to do forsaken and shadowkeep first and then the story will make more sense, and feel like there was more content. it strikes me a lot of players that complain about not much new probably already did forsaken and shadowkeep whereas if they started a new guardian or were a new player then maybe it seems to them there is much more content than just europa. thats all feedback i have so far except for that i just went to EDZ with my titan and i had a black screen with music being streamed from the laptop hdd and then it CTD on me. some strange bug there but not sure if its worth reporting unless i can make it repeatable. oh and no didnt do the poll because it is clearly not serious and like one of those leading questions.

Not in every way... Stasis is fun in PvE (omg they actually let us have a power fantasy) for now. I’m sure all the cry baby PvP players will get it ruined like they usually do. So I expect that fun to die before the season is done. (Minor Spoiler) Ghost imitating the Drifter was pretty amusing too.
