3 RepliesEdited by Demon_XXVII: 8/26/2020 10:54:35 PMMy [b]MountainTop[/b] quest has been started, deleted & restarted twice - once when it initially arrived in season 5 (when it bugged out on the double-kill step (with the other 2 complete) & then [b]after[/b] Bungie reset the requirements to make it ‘easier’ to complete (double-kills and CT medals required to unlock the weapon being lowered from 200 and 100, respectively, to 75 and 25.) It’s now frozen on the ‘Calculated Trajectory’ medals @ 64% / so under the new requirements that’s 9 medals to go It’s been like that for bloody months on end! No matter how many calculated trajectory medals, It just won’t budge! I refuse to delete it and start again! (And I’ve never ever used a ‘kill lobby’ to farm the kills) Bungie, fix your god damn game!

4 RepliesI just got it two days ago, and holy shit it’s disgusting. I love using it, buts it’s not fair in crucible in the slightest. If you click the ground next to someone you deal enough damage to automatically win the gunfight, it rewards you for barely doing anything

No weapons at all are being deleted, pvp wise the only playlists that might not see MT will be trials and Iron banner. Nothing is changing for regular playlists. There will likely be rebalancing and ninja nerfs with beyond light there always is.

Yeah, I don't know how sunsetting would fix anything that is usually fixed with updates. Hope they didn't sunset that. Broken guns are not less annoying in Quickplay.

I use mountaintop a lot. its 100% broken. they should simply tone down its splash damage. impact damage should stay the same.

deleting it would be amazing. but obviously that’s not going to happen 😩 it seriously needs to be adjusted though. it is getting old now that everyone & their dog has it.

9 RepliesScrub weapon for those who like to sit in Kill lobbies. I reported a few xbox LFG posts about mountaintop kill lobbies for cheating. I was very surprised that I got notifications of xbox taking action within 15 minutes each time lol. I encourage anyone else who sees these fools posting LFG kill lobbies to report as well.

2 RepliesI thought nothing would top Back Up Plan (pre-nerf) Fusions in terms of scrubyness, but MT is leagues worse lmao... - No Charge time - Can be used both from the ground and airborne with high accuracy. - Missed shots still make enemies absolute and easy to clean up. - Projectile is so fast it's borderline hitscan I really can't wait till MT gets sent to oblivion.
