It goes without saying that Hunters get way more attention than the other two classes. Which makes sense when Hunters are 70% of the player bases. But seriously that needs to stop and it starts by fixing the other two to be well oiled machines.
Supers are a key to the gameplay but why do Hunter supers have immediate access to things like whirlwind guard. Titan shields don't become available immediately after activation.
If you want to see more ability usage like rifts and baracades then shorten the timer because honestly it takes a century to charge those unless you build around it. I'm surprised when I don't have a dodge. I'm not surprised when I don't have a rift or baracade. Keep in mind that even tear 7 recovery only gives you a rift every minute.
Disable/Remake Wormhusk Crown or you might as well bring back OEM. OEM was crazy good because of the meta it was in at the time with things like Luna's, Spare Rations, Service Revolver and so on. But 600 rpm autos are a completely different meta. Wormhusk is a better Exotic because it can completely turn around every fight by reloading, turning invisible, and healing.
Diversity in abilities is not a thing for Warlocks and Titans there are 7 flavors of Hunter sub classes and I'm combining arc because they are the most similar. The Hunter suppers are all a lot different from one another while it could be argued that both golden guns are the same mechanics they perform very differently. If you compare that to things like Storm Trance, Sentinel Shield, Fist of Havoc, Nova Bomb, Hammer of Sol and Day Break all those supers are the same in each Subclass. If you didn't play those classes frequently you would never be able to tell the difference between Attunement of the Elements and Attunement of Conduction because they are the same super.
The Warlock and Titan need fine tuning but it won't happen because they enhabbit a very Small part of the game especially Warlocks because the definition of many other abilities don't count towards a number of bounties.

For everyone wanting more reason of what needs tuned more a lot of it has to do with activation times. Which there are non that I can think of on Hunters which is what makes them feel really good.
Melee abilities and melee in general are very important. Sense D1 Hunters have had throwing knife and eventually Titans got the thrown hammer. Those two ranged melees are on par for a long time. The first Warlock ranged melee is Ball Lighting which is much worse than those two in all activities. Celestial fire is the first move in the right direction because it's quick and it's damage good.
Outside of the ranged melee Titans totally take it with shoulder charge but only one Hammer Strike has a secondary feature to increase utility. But even then shoulder charges still require you to sprint for a moment first. Unlike weighted knife. Warlocks have a lot of interesting melees but they are all on a delay and many of them are just confusing. Warlock middle tree has a secondary explosion but it's slower than a double tap melee. Bottom tree Solar causes a burn but it's not noticable immediately. The rest of the Warlock melees do things like recharge grenades or buff allies but none of them do something immediately for the player. Not in same way the Hunter smokes are a second throwable or tempest strike disorients.
Grenades it's a hot debate of who has the best the grenades but I can say that some grenades need changes because they don't get used. Titan magnet grenade needs to either stick to walls as a trap or be called a fusion to work with Ashen Wake. Charge Warlock grenades need buffed. Axion Bolt has a very small detection range and if doesn't mark someone it does nothing it needs a lingering effect like Swarm or more longer range. Charged Scatter grenades need better homing more damage.

8 Replies100% True in class ability department. Hunter have a 6 sec dodge that i-frames grenades and removes aim assist. Titans have a barricade that gets counterplayed by any aoe dot grenade. Warlocks get a pisspool of nothingness that takes forever to charge and use. The rift is useless and just gives away your position. The overshield is like 10 hp and rift exotics are laughable.

4 RepliesThe time it takes to plant a rift or titan barricade is so goddamn slow it's actually ridiculous. I hope bungie sorts the class balance out because I'm getting sick and tired of using underpowered abilities
-
As a Titan main. I have no problem dealing with hunters. But I have to agree that warlocks are definitely the most underpowered of the 3, no matter which way you look at it.

2 RepliesHunter dodge in PvP is BS and people will defend it to the death. I don't even bother anymore.

7 RepliesI played ONLY titan in d1, I play hunter now and after a year and a half of not playing, i dont get how anyone can say hunters are the broken class. Titans and warlocks both have multiple 1 hit melee options, as far as I know, the only chance a hunter has to 1 hit anyone is a crit hit with the weighted knife. Titans have the best grenades in the game hands down as well as most of the best roaming supers. Warlocks dawnblade is just obnoxious at this point, also 2 throwable melees that do a massive amount of damage, handheld may as well be a super. The ability to dodge not once but twice in mid air, a skill that was only obtainable to titans WITH an exotic in d1. Hunters can go invisible, not very hard to see them, but still useful, golden gun has and always will be one of most "should I use this?" supers in the game, the chance of being killed before you fire a shot is beyond high. Spectral is a decent roaming super, but all you need to do is run away or jump up high, which titans and warlocks have absolutely zero issue doing. Arc staff is annoying with whirlwind, but all you need to do is walk away from it lol. Cant out run a titans in any of their roaming supers and you can only really outrun tickle fingers with the warlock, but lets be real, nobody runs that. I'm having a hard time finding a reason why hunters are seen as the troublesome class right now as it seems that all the easy buttons are on titans and warlocks at the moment. I dont have any issues with any class, but being someone who played a crapload of titan, the risk/reward is skewed pretty far to the reward side, especially in survival and trials, when you can just run and 1 hit melee someone for the win or a warlock being able to turn their melee into a super that is pretty much garunteed to 1 hit within close to medium range. Just my thoughts.

1 ReplyWarlocks, specifically Voidwalkers, need a buff. It doesn't matter what anyone says, Blink shouldn't stretch the user's hitbox, end of story.
-
4 RepliesCompletely agree with the post ! We all know that the hunters have everything - press 1 button to dodge,reload,heal,invis...wall hacks, improved radar, smoke, throwing knife. But let`s all complain about the OEM and Anteus. it`s never the Wormhusk. I bet that the new season the hunter is going to be the most OP as always.

Just Nerf Hunters problem-solve😘

5 RepliesTitan neutral game needs reworked. Hunters and warlocks have great mobility options, which is fine. Some tweaks to the titan’s mobility and neutral game/super trees would help a lot. Why do you think Titans get all the broken exotics. To make up for it. They added twilight garrison to the warlock tree for free. Some Titan love would be appreciated.
-
3 RepliesWarlocks need serious buffs, yes. Titans however are fine. They have a ton of good subclasses and have tons of PvP potential. Warlocks on the other hand...
-
13 RepliesHunters are trash.. All they have is a great jump and dodge.. Titans ands warlocks have way better exotic armor and abilities.. Wormhusk is a joke lmao it only gives half health.. The only reason you saw so much of it when shadowkeep released was because of the artifact .. Which granted all the classes arc/solar/void battery which they didn't add to the artifact this season
-
3 RepliesAgreed. Hunters are just wayyyyyyy over used
-
6 RepliesHunters are easy mode right now. I can't believe that Bungie allows them to have a get out of bad situation/decision free button every 10 to 15 seconds with the dodge. But then you have titan barricades that i guess are okay but are hella slow, and warlock rifts that both have the big suck and are even more hella slow.
-
Hunters aren't nearly as op as many people make them out to be. Titan and warlocks could use some tweaking though, sure.
-
1 ReplyFun fact, tall barricade can negate a boss slamming and can be used to blind funneling enemies. As a titan main, as I wont argue any buffs, I dont really see any need for it. Some real awesome builds going on right now. Striker with skullfort helm and trinity ghoul is just a blast. Armentarium and mid tree sentenial gets nades back so fast its silly. Bottkm tree sundresses with lumina is about as supportive as supportive gets.
-
8 RepliesI never get the barricade/rift ability complaints. They are abilities that benefit multiple people, it makes sense they take longer to deploy, recharge, as well as having lasting effects.
-
29 RepliesEdited by michael: 7/26/2020 3:56:55 PMComplaining about hunters when top dawn is the best subclass in the game and bottom striker is second best. Both make any hunter subclass look completely worthless. Popularity does not indicate effectiveness, a lot of people use hunter because it is easy to use for an average player due to its standout feature being easy movement. But if you actually take the time to get good on warlock or titan they are miles and miles better. Hunter is my least favourite class to play because it is boring and nothing about it stands out. I move faster on top dawn and have way better abilities.

39 RepliesEdited by Bore: 7/26/2020 5:40:07 PMLast I checked hunters only made up around 40% of pvp. Warlocks were around 35% and titans were 25%. In Pve you can swap warlocks and Hunters. No class gets more attention than the other two. No class is stronger than the other two. All classes have strengths, weaknesses and different abilities. All classes perform within 1%-3% of each other in pvp.
-
10 RepliesTry playing 6 pvp games, that is 12*6 people, if you get more than 24 hunters, call me crazy!!! Stop picking on hunters, bungo nerfed us to the ground and warlocks are literally sky sniping body shots and tracking meleeing !!! My games are 4 hunters max, including me, others are skylocks and titans !!!!! Stop crying you look sad
-
1 ReplyMad cuz bad
-
I guarantee you a good warlock will shit all over a hunter. Each class has their trade offs. Titans in my opinion are the hardest class to fight against because they are the strongest and fastest. A good hunter will shit on anyone. There is no one class is better than the other. A lot of hunters came from D1 and if you like your class why use other ones?
-
11 RepliesYou say hunters have access to whirlwind guard immediately on use so I have a question, what about arcstrider versatility. They can’t exactly throw staffs of death that have homing bounces, only one branch of the tree can guard while all void titans can guard, they can’t produce a bubble that has what armor and weapons of light. Golden gun has no super armor so it is extremely bad in close spaces tether sucks in pvp but above average in pve(it’s a anchor) nightstalker while invisible its only real advantage is wall hacks. Hunter grenades are pretty crappy compared to titans and warlocks. So all in all each class has upsides and downsides. Hell I have been against shoulder charge for a long time since it is a extremely versatile melee ability.
-
28 RepliesHunters indeed get way more attention. Which is why they are the weakest class ability wise now with the 50+ nerfs they recieved throughout D2. The only thing hunter has that is good is their jump and the dodge is average. Also LOL @ wormhusk...it is a husk of its former self..giving 50 health on a dodge is nothing....if 2 auto rifle bullets hit you during dodge it effectively did nothing...and titans and warlocks have multiple abilities and exotics that are way better. Alpha lupi heals the entire team for 50 health upon using a barricade. OEM still gives FULL HEALTH AND FULL OVERSHIELD when killing someone. (If wormhusk did this titans would call for a nerf every single day....which they already did when it effectively did that in season 3)

19 RepliesEdited by fakkelbrigade: 7/26/2020 3:47:37 PMDon't know what dream world you live in but Titans are by far op compared to the other 2. You can put a shield op when you want or become a freaking shield and hit with it. Your hammers dont even need to be near a target to kill it. Every new player that starts with the hunter struggle, because you have to time things, so a lot of my new clan members quickly switch to titan and just shoulder charge their way and destroy everything. How would you want to fine tune that even more....
-
1 ReplyI tune my level 5 titan with my level 3 warlock, and synchro summon my hunter. And ill use my hunters special ability to go invis and sneak for the kill
-
Titan main here. Make Warlocks stronger in pvp, buff them, give them better exotics. I want to see more Warlocks in pvp instead of... you know what...
