The center point of the reticle is completely obstructed, preventing you from tracking your target. Even a heavy machine gun like Hammerhead is less obtrusive.
-
Agreed, it's pretty bad. When aiming for the head, the muzzle flash will literally make the target's entire body disappear. Really no reason it should be that bad. It should be in-line with the other 600 autos.

6 RepliesUs Redrix users laugh at your Forward Path's muzzle flash. We'd give you the evil eye, but we can't see you. 😂

1 ReplyEdited by WulfPak666: 7/4/2020 11:50:13 AMIf you think the muzzle flash on Forward Path is ridiculous, you should've seen Vanilla D1 Bad Juju... Especially if you have a red/green color blind issue.

61 RepliesI see the handcannon crowd is wicked butthurt in here. Something else is good finally for a little over a season while HCs have been top tier for most of D1 and at least a full year in D2. Lol
-
That flash could trigger epileptic seizures.
-
Wtf. Why is Bungie lowkey trying to blind anyone using that gun?
-
Weird. Feels like lotta folks are having issues with it and here I am not even noticing the flash before folks started complaining about it. Forward's by far my new favorite 600 kinetic right now, used it an entire evening in banner yesterday on a +2 zoom scope without any aiming issues at all. Felt better than my gnawing hungers. All I can think of is graphic settings. Guess there's hidden benefits in playing on all low for the 144 fps.
The center point of the reticle is completely obstructed, preventing you from tracking your target. Even a heavy machine gun like Hammerhead is less obtrusive.
Meh. I don’t care about meta. I just use what I’m in the mood for.

Agreed

Just get aimbot like everyone else.

115 RepliesAuto rifles are op. They should get no buffs. They should all have heaps of muzzle flash. Sick of no skill auto rifle users.

1 ReplyEdited by SSK0T: 7/3/2020 4:31:54 PMin the short term.. try some other scopes. Some are much worse than others. Easier said than done if you haven't had a good one drop with a nicer scope, but that is a work around you can try now. Red dot micro works for me (although I'd use Suros, Gnawing, Summoner and maybe Galliard over FP anyway)

3 RepliesIt’s better than hand cannons, where you literally cannot see your crosshair while firing

Edited by The Hermit IX: 7/3/2020 2:01:53 AMI agree completely. They did the same thing with arc logic and it was unusable in any important situation. It’s a shame, I got a fantastic roll on my first drop, I tried it and vaulted it. Whoever came up with that bright idea should be sent to get coffee when reworking the next batch of weapons.
-
LOL. Why do they keep doing this? The graphics in the this game are garbage. Why do they want to create crap like this that blinds the player? Do they even test anything in this game?
-
1 ReplyMy crystal ball says the muzzle flash will be reduced soon - kind of like the crazy shaking of hard light - time to vault it and wait
-
i agree

Destiny 2 has some crazy awesome effects, that can't denied on an hdr TV 😍👌👌👌👌👌 Buuuut it's true some effects are a little too much like the muzzle flash and AOE effects from grenades or enemy attacks I know the effects artists are showing their talent, but their flexing is a tad much on the muzzle flash
-
4 RepliesGood it should have a drawback considering how strong ARs are currently
-
I think a lot of weapons have too much muzzle flash. Misfit and Forward Path are some of the worst though. With forward path it doesn't fit with the design of the weapon, as the suppressor on it should substantially reduce the flash. I don't remember that much flash in D1 in comparison, to the point that it really interferes with target acquisition.

10 RepliesTone down Autos period. Spray and prey meta sux azz.

if you dont mind playing at lower graphics if you turn them down its not bad
-
14 RepliesEdited by Golden_Apple: 7/2/2020 10:56:54 PMCheck out the roll I have. Aside from the muzzle flash, I'd say it's best 600 rpm kinetic auto. Just wish I had dynamic sway instead of feeding frenzy

1 Replyhell no

This making the forward path..... unclear.

agreed lol
