Change your mind on sunsetting......I'm thinking of quitting the game you have no respect for the players....
I have grinded countless hours trying for the rolls I have on my weapons, and would like to be able to use them whenever and however I want.
What happened to creating and using builds of your choice, and now you go back on your word yet again. I dont want to get the only useful guns by having to raid or play high end content, that eliminates alot of the non hardcore players, I play when I can and dont have alot of access to end game stuff, I have been sherpad a few times learning stuff but it shouldn't be the only way to get good weapons...

So I guess you did not quit since you have a 1243 Warlock. What changed your mind?

1 ReplyDon't even bother. Play something you enjoy, I do the same and come back to forums to laugh. Some ppl will defend bungie no matter what they do. They still believe this game can be saved, I don't. But I hope I'm wrong. Really if you don't enjoy the game just do something else.

I'm not going to quit because if this but I'll have a way more casual approach to the game from now on. I won't spend time grinding anything for any specific roll. If I get it by chance, fine - if not, I'll live without it. I'll still use my old guns that I like for QP and anything else that doesn't require me to be of certain power - and for the rest, well, I'll just slap on whatever I happen to have. I don't need a god rolled hand cannon to beat a raid. This is probably a good thing, the time I need to spend grinding will be severely reduced.

i can relate somehow , i grind all month for a paycheck and then the government comes and takes away almost half of it :D

Time to just forget that it happened and start looking to the future. Their mind was made up about it when Luke Smith first hinted at it months ago. So it does not matter at this point. I am still really pissed that they are sun-setting armor. Which they are obviously doing just to push the new transmog pay service. However, I am over it and looking forward to the reveal in a few hours. I hope that they have something that will get me excited to play.

24 RepliesAnother person who can't read or understand anything. "I play when I can and dont have alot of access to end game stuff" They are only being sunset for end game content. You can use all your stuff in everything except end game. Read it over better next time.

I'm giving up destiny. I wasted too much time on it. If Bungie refuses just step away from the game. Once their profits suffer changes will be made. They're just another corporation where the only thing that matters is the bottom line.

So before weapons even sunset they are dropping the versions to use right out to 12 months away which is odd! As for the armor, what a fcking ball ache grind this is! You cannot even tune the new engrams until you get level 75 on the season pass and its dropping the same peices over and over! and even then you have to full upgrade the resonator. The high stats Ive had so far on my Titan is 1 chest piece with a max of 61 with 21 in Mobility and 21 in Disc with like 4 in each of the other stats. Yep Titan armor with high stacks in mobility and next to nothing in Resilience or Recovery. Not good so far. I don't want to do this fckin armor grind every 3 months. Oh and look, another bloody public event to grind..

5 RepliesYour bio says you are a solo player. Which means you will be able to use any old weapon in any future solo player content. Since strikes are 750 and crucible doesnt have light enabled.

2 RepliesThink you miss the point. Why have new content if you're going be boring and keep using same stuff? Are you inly capable of using a certain gear or the game is to difficult for you? Sunsetting doesn't mean you can't use them either. It also doesn't mean they will never return to be the meta again either.

Raid weapons are not the only good weapons. Hell I got a world drop Old Fashioned with FF and explosive payload and a FF/ kill clip roll. I’ll put up either of those up against any Raid primary.

I don’t really know about how sunset will occur. What are they doing about end game stuff?
