Aside from the 30 minute wait, that's a great way to end off a season. I would definitely be in favor of more things like this to act as a small cherry on top at the end of a season. I mean standing around for 30 minutes isn't really a thing to bring forward but without the wait, it was a cool event.
Good job, Bungie!
EDIT: I should've said it was 30 minutes from when stuff actually began to happen. I misspoke.

Absolutely 👍😁

Edited by SSK0T: 6/7/2020 6:05:18 PMI'm glad someone enjoyed it. This sort one time/Fortnite meteor or comet sort of event does nothing for me

2 RepliesHow hopped up on drugs are you?

3 RepliesComing from someone who had to work today... I’d say make it a mission that you can choose once from the tower interface and watch it play out around you. After being excited about this for most of the season, getting home from work and being told by Zalvala, ‘oh, sorry it all went down when you popped off for chips and dip. But thanks, hero.’ was a huge letdown. They do a good job making you feel like the hero most of the time. This time I felt like an extra in someone else’s story.

2 Replies30 mins???? More like 2 hours
-
4 RepliesA FOMO event that took 90 minutes after it 'began' to do anything of substance was a great way to end a season? No. Let's just stick to cutscenes from here on out.
-
...was not this. To finish that sentence.
-
1 Reply30 minutes? Were you on fast forward?
-
Uh bro, you misspelled NINETY MINUTES!! Honestly, am I missing the sarcasm here?
-
1 Reply30 mins my ass an hour an 30 mins
-
2 Replies30 minutes? If you think that was worth 1.5 hours of wait it totally explains the thought process of destiny fanboys

The Right Way to End a Season
... woulda been with a boss battle inside the Almighty while the trapped guardian inside sacrifices himself to lower the shields so that the rasputin missiles actually work. You know... let us actually do something other then chores to save the planet. Like a video game.
-
Kinda would've actually like to do a story mission along side of this. Maybe go back to almighty and disable a shield then return to the tower

Edited by A R G O: 6/6/2020 10:04:20 PMIt was more like a smaller turd on top of the gianormous turd that's been dropping on us for the last 3 seasons.

5 RepliesEdited by TELETUBBY: 6/6/2020 11:24:53 PMI cant believe all the miserable people talkin shit bout this Great ending to the season. I watched this with a couple friends of mine eating pizza and having a couple beers and it was great. Don't care what u sad mf have to say to me on this comment 🤣😂😅. Well done bungie 👏

The last 5-10 minutes were a great spectacle admitted;y, but the build up was so long I managed to watch the entire uncut Frieza vs. SS Goku fight and still have enough time to watch the Almighty fall.

6 RepliesI think we can all agree this beats the shindig out of the undying mind.

4 RepliesThat was more like almost two hours for something that should've taken 20 minutes. The explosion was cool, but it was very undercut by the amount of time it took.
