It's good that you are trying to address cheating now but what took so long? We've had cheaters in comp since its inception and have only had an acknowledgement of pinnacle weapons being locked for the cheaters back in season 4 and after that crickets. Warzone just came out and infinity word has banned many waves of players already and are now planning to stealthily match suspected cheaters together. They are also planning to inform people that report cheaters of the action taken based on their reports.

After reading this TWAB, I seriously believe Bungie should quit making games. You guys had good 5 years of cash grab and dash with not much to show for last couple of years. You have either lost leadership or creativity or the technical skills required to make a game. The franchise is dying quicker than ever in it's history because the fun is gone. Whatever you are doing is not pleasing a lot of people. Guns are uselss, supers are nerfed, storyline is down the loo... just face it, you have lost the plot of this game and possibly your reputation in game industry. It's like the story of great sportsman who is losing their form in every match... time to retire before losing your dignity. I wish you recover and make this franchise great again but my hope for you is like the final flicker of a dying candle. Good luck! You need it the most now.

If this is the TWAB we got after Bungie had soooo much time to curate a response after WEEKS of complete and utter chaos... It's over. Destiny 2 has no chance of ever being taken seriously again. It is a sad truth. The level of oversight it took to arrive at this point, added to the total incompetence required to inform a full lack of cognisant reply... It's over. This game is toast. It will be referred to as a meme and joke that other new games will be graded tantamount to when they have epic failures such as Destiny 2s'. Goodnight and Good Luck, Bungie. Please don't even bother with Destiny 3. You don't have the credibility and technical ability to dream of executing that piece of the trilogy.

What was actually stated? Nothing but a more in-depth BS of what has been said for months. We are planning this, we are planning that, please give us ideas, next season, next season, next season, blah blah blah. The part on cheating actually pissed me off. How can you honestly sit and say this, [u][i][b]Before Season of the Worthy launched, we were averaging 656 bans or restrictions per week. In the first four weeks after launch, that rate more than tripled to 2133 punishments per week.[/b][/i][/u] and yet you are using that as evidence cheaters are handled? It tells people you have a crappy whatever you want to call it system that is overrun with cheating to the point IT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED NOW. A 4x increase in barely a month? Really? And how many are not being banned? 10X increase? 100X? We do not care to hear about how many you have banned, that is after the fact. You are only catching the idiots that do not care if they get caught. The smart ones do it every day, every game. We want to hear how are you going to stop the damn non-sense from happening in the first place? Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions PLEASE. People cheat in this game because they can, because you haven't gone after Guardian Services and other recovery services with legal action. The money involved makes people want to cheat even more to turn more profit in less time. Man come on, if a company is profiting off my invention, my IP, then I am going to sue their asses for damages and losses. That is how the world operates. How much annual income is recovery services syphoning off of this game for straight up pure profit with no investment? Man the ROI is insane and you wonder why cheating has gone through the roof. That is just ONE of the causes. Hell why not just offer people the ability to buy pinnacles, raid loot, flawless etc. and avoid all of this non-sense. I mean a fast check for guaranteed Tarrabah is $220.00. 220.00 and you wonder why people cheat. 40 or so for flawless runs and you actually think that wouldn't inspire people to cheat? It does not matter if you ban Joe after 21 players had their runs ruined because Joe payed someone to do it and they cheated. If your supposed system cannot detect the code running that drives the cheat engines then you have squat, nothing, shit. When accounts are being sold for as little as $5 that are leveled to 960 so cheaters can then flip them for 100x or more profit doing recoveries you think a paywall or hours played will stop this? No it wont. You will just create the next new market item, a 960 w/150 hours for $10 or whatever it will be. Why not force people to download standalone anticheat systems, you know ones that actual scan your system and memory? If you arent checking at the start of every match and even during the match then you are losing and will always fail at this. Watch the interview with the cheater who has been doing it for months and his friends also. He even tells you if you are smart and do not go flying through the air or infinite respawns then you are safe. He is even offering to give you his cheat system so you can prevent it. That is sad, just sad someone is even able to say that. Never in 30 years of gaming have I ever ran across something like that in a game. Cheaters honestly trying to give you the tools to stop them and you still cant do it.

I had over 5000 crucible tokens yesterday and when i logged in today i found only 500??? The same problem happened to me last week when i had 1700 etheric spiral (material) and i lost them all for no reason, i checked my vault and no sign of them. i can’t lose all these materials after all the grind i’ve done on this game

A lot of armchair experts responding here, most of them I suspect just have too much time on their hands to stew over video games and zero clue concerning the technical aspects of the problem. This was a good TWAB. Two things in particular I would strongly support (with two suggestion included) 1) 100 hours [b]IN ACTIVITIES[/b] required to play trials. [b]Exclude Black Armory forges from counting toward this.[/b] This prevents cheaters from AFKing to their 100 hours. 2) Trials [b]AND[/b] survival go behind the seasonal paywall. Allowing free to play accounts into these modes was a mistake that only led to an increase in cheating. Get ‘em out! If they want access to these endgame modes, they can financially support the game like those of us who have been here since D1Y1.

masterwork materials is nowhere even near anything "rewarding".. dont use masterwork materials as anything.. they are not worth any struggle. you do not need this.. and they are definitely nowhere near a "reward" for such an end game activity like trials.. you are completely wrong , bungie about masterwork materials.. they are NOT that important.

Why not have a pole and let player pick like 20 or 30 of there fav d1 emblems. And bring them back as legacy emblems??? I just went back and played the glory that is d1. And man they had some great.... well everything! But emblems for sure it could be a cool little thing to do to bring the community togeather.
