Best alcoholic beverage?
As of 12 minutes ago (time of making this post), I'm now of legal age to drink. Any ideas on what I should try?

Kopparberg Mixed Berries. Trust, mate. Can't scoff at a cold beer either, comes in many flavours, try to see if you're a Pilsener, IPA, Drought or Lager guy.

I personally like a nice coffee with bailey's or kalua after a shit night. I'm an islander so I am required by law to recommend a pina colada. Don't go crazy though. Be responsible and use your new legal powers wisely.

5 RepliesBeer. The alcohol content is low enough that its easy to drink....and hard to misjudge where you're limit is. Wine is good, but the higher alcohol content makes it more of an acquired taste, and easier to misjudge how much you've had and get into trouble. Avoid distilled drinks/spirits for now. The high alcohol content can make for an unpleasant, burning experience trying to drink it straight....and mixing it with other non-alcoholic drinks is a crap shoot if you're not experienced. ' Oh....and never mix alcohol with anything else mind-altering. Good way to wind up in a hospital.

2 RepliesWhiskey over ice or neat. And none of this American dumpster fire we call whiskey/bourbon. Even small batches here in America suck. A good Irish Whiskey or Scotch. Redbreast 15 is a good Irish Whiskey if you don't want to break the bank. If you don't mind spending some money on it Bushmills 21, Balvenie 21 Portwood and Tullibardine 25 are my favorites. Dalwhinnie 15 is excellent as well.

This is going to take some time, but it'll be time well spent... except for the black out times, you won't remember those.

Edited by Cobravert: 4/21/2020 2:26:06 PMIf you feel that you must, low volume alcohol like most domestic beer, wine coolers, or 'hard' soft drinks (Smirnoff flavored vodka based drinks) would be the place to investigate. Higher volume alcohols like some beers, IPAs, and any liquor would be a mistake that you will pay for in ways you don't want. Don't do any more than maybe 1-2. Over consuming (any time) is stupid to begin with, and always seems to be the goal of most who start out, thinking it makes them cooler or better somehow. It doesn't. Moderation is key in enjoying it, and also in maintaining your mental faculties if need be. Don't let peer pressure make you do anything you're not comfortable with. Friends can be really stupid when it comes to this area especially, and try to push you into doing things you shouldn't, just for their own amusement. If they do, they're not really your friends. As for best - that's a whole different topic that opinions don't matter, for everyone would have a different answer. Best for your occasion would be low volume.

Oh my... Bumbu and Pineapple juice, Skyy Vodka and Cranberry... Grey Goose is supposed to be smooth. Stay away from white rum and Gin at first. Orrrr... Do like i did, drink yourself barfy on wine coolers and BlackJack Daniels. Yes yes... Do that👆 always a guud time. Bleeeech😫
