Please create an all blacked out shader
Please please please Bungie, create an all black shaded. In D1 there was at least 1 or more than was all black. I don’t know why you guys wouldn’t make one yet , there may be lighting and graphics issues, but please just make one. A lot of people would love it and try to black out their gear through shaded combos but nothing beats the real deal. So please just make an all blacked out shaded. Shiny, matted, or both. It would be Amazing!

1 ReplyNot sure why, but Basalt Toxic (Festival of the Lost Shader) is completely black on some armor. Like on my Titan, except for the parts that don't change colour with Shaders.

I don't think they can. We got an all black shader in D1, because shaders could only be applied to weapons and armor. But shaders in Destiny 2 can be applied to everything.. Apply an all-black shader to a jump ship....and yo uwon't be able to see it in space.

Well they’ve already created a ‘100% blacked out’ emblem & a transmat screen for Tower/Crucible etc 😆 Bungie will definitely provide black shaders for silver coins!

Since this drivel is still trending. No. Shaders are -blam!-, we should be able to color any piece of our armor any color we want. Current system is decades dated. Not acceptable in a title pretending to be an RPG.

I want an all black shader because or Frostees. They take shaders so poorly and I refuse to look like some sort of multi-colored clown for their ability. Like, at least give them an ornament.

5 Repliesi think black is overrated, but im sure there are plenty of players that agree with you. if they did create an all black shader, 50% of the players would put it on, then we'd have even less individuality that we do now. my favorite shader is the Mad Monk (its just Jawa brown), but i haven't seen another drop of that shader in about a year. i have boatloads of shaders in my inventory, but it seems some of them no longer drop. i liked it better in D1 where you could change all you stuff at anytime with a shader you purchased -just once-. whats the deal with the shader that you get at eververse? she'll only sell you one. and that shader is only good for 1 piece of gear. plus they are always the same shaders. i don't get it. am i doing something wrong?

there are too many dark, blue, and light shaders. There are barely any in between, all the crucible ones have red, all the gambit ones have green, and all the vanguard have some sort of blue or orange. We need more variety

I think the shaders for the most part even since destiny one have been no good. I really wish they had a all-black shader not some grey pretending to be black

The entire way shaders were implemented in Destiny 2 were to support gambling packs. When gambling packs fell by the wayside they never went back and updated the system. Shaders and customization in this game are a mess in general. I would love to see an entire season of just QoL updates. I don't need another garbage public event where we have to throw little balls at bigger balls and nobody even participates. • The UI needs and update. • Weapon switching needs an update. • Any gear should be used as an ornament not just cash shop stuff etc.
