Jack Queen King 3 is not very good, is it.
What is the story with JCK3. The streamers are saying it is so good, and I got myself a decent roll, and it is not very good is it. Is it because PC vs Console difference once again.

It’s bulky. Feels heavy. Omolon hand cannons have always felt weird to me.

I got the demolitionist/dragonfly roll and it’s pretty good. I’m sure it’s better for PC with less recoil.

The base stats between JQK3 and Spare Rations are similar enough to warrant comparison, and JQK3 can roll with great supplementary traits to boost the performance just like Spare Rations. It's also easier to obtain/re-roll so there is that. They share the same frame and recoil animation, but JQK3 has a slightly larger model which can disrupt sight-lines while aiming and firing.

I like it a lot for PVE, but not for PVP. If you're on console and have access to Luna or NF there isn't really any reason to use it in PVP.

It’s good, the reason you and many other people don’t like it is the weapon model, it blocks where you’re aiming which is a pretty big annoyance if you aren’t used to the weapon.

Drewsky us ditching it in favour of Spare. Cool guy hates it due to its bulkiness, etc.

6 RepliesNo. It’s because JQK is very bulky. It’s recoil animation is the same as Spare, but since it’s considerably bulkier is obscures more of the screen and just doesn’t feel great.

1 ReplyI dismantled at least 60 JQK that I farmed from fractaline donations in search of a good roll... is there such a thing? Best one I got so far has dragonfly, subsistence, armor piercing rounds, handling masterwork. 80% of the ones I dismantled had auto loading holster.

For whatever reason new weapons like Jack Queen King 3 and The Old Fashioned still kick like hand cannons used to before Shadowkeep. I use Jack Queen a lot and got used to it so to me it isn't a problem, but I hope Bungie fixes these weapons one day.

1 ReplyTwo problems. 1. The gun's model has bits sticking out of it that can obscure peripheral vision. 2. The gun has an odd recoil pattern. Not great for PvP. In PvE, Subsistence and Swashbuckler makes for a very fun add-clearing pistol.

I got one with demolitionist + dragonfly. Demo procs on every enemy killed with dragonfly so I'm chuckin 'nades every 2-3 headshots in most cases.

I believe they were saying it's a slightly worse version of spare rations, not that it was supposed to be the next big thing.

Gun model blocks your vision. Cross hairs are annoying and recoil feels weird. I too do not like jqk
