A fix for weapons that actually works

A Fix for weapons that works This change would stop the insane RNG madness while still allowing for major grinding to take place, it would also fix the problem with not being able to pull newer guns out of collections, all while fixing the vault space issue, and it brings a new aspect of the game that would be enjoyable, and it would allow the “shelving of old legendaries” to happen with less fuss from half the community. Let’s call it weapon customizing. We’re going to be utilizing collections differently with this idea, maybe even give us a new tab called weapon customizing if they wanted to. When you acquire a legendary gun for the first time, it goes into collections with the “rolls” that you received “unlocked”. You can pull it from collections as that gun. If you get another drop of that gun with a different “roll” on it, the perks on that drop would now be “unlocked” for that specific gun in collections. In collections you could select which combo of perks/rolls you would want. This could simply be a pop out menu when you hover over that perk slot of the gun. You would still need to get a drop of that weapon with whatever perk your looking for to have it unlock, but once you have kill clip unlocked on a drop then you can always select kill clip in collections with your other perks unlocked. This still requires you to grind out each perk/roll/masterwork your looking for on a specific weapon but you wouldn’t have to grind it to madness while looking for the right combo. You build it how you want with the drops you’ve received. This differs from armor 2.0, with armor you could select any perk with any armor which was a grind in the beginning to get all the perks, but going forward there is no longer a grind. I don’t want to find individual perks for guns like with armor, that would be to easy, This keeps grinds relevant with weapons but not to the insane levels they are. It also makes us feel like we can try different combos with ease so there is no need to keep 4 different mindbenders in our vault or any for that matter. And being there is less rng involved we won’t mind shelving those weapons and grinding the new ones. I understand and know it takes a fair amount of coding to make this happen, but not much more then the armor 2.0 change and it’s certainly possible. What do you guys think
