3 random lore tidbits I believe in

1. Those pods on the roof of thieves landing: I always believed they were fallen houses, and that while we're fighting below them a bunch of small fallen children cower in fear 2. Distant shore: I know the actual reason why it looks the way it does is because it's a reskine of "shores of time", but I personally believe that the deactivated portal on both maps actually connects the two of them together. That if I were to walk through the portal on Nessus I'd end up on Venus 3. Talking weapons: it sounds stupid, but I like to believe that guns such as whisper of the worms, 1k voices, touch of malice etc. can actually talk to it's wielder. Is there any proof of this? No not really, but I like to believe in it So yeah... Y'all have anything?

  • I believe that the Darkness and the Traveler are both evil powers struggling for control. Prove me wrong.

    • The true question is this: Where the actual -blam!- does the cryo pod fall from in thieves landing?

[I have one lore theory I personally believe in (despite how controversial some may think it is.]
[basically, my theory is that Maya Sundaresh, Elsie Bray, and the Exo stranger are one in the same. This is based on the fact that Elsie disappeared randomly after secretly experimenting with time travel, Maya seems to know a bit more about the vex then she lets on relative to the rest of the Ishtar team. Nvm, the guy who claimed McNiadh wouldn’t enjoy a job a Clovis was Shim.]
• 1. Those are toilets. Fallen live in them like the roaches they are. 2. Convergence is a PvP map that converges Io and Nessus landscapes, modeled after the Pantheon map within the Black Garden which is being simulated in the Infinite Forest. 3. Steel Oracle Z-11 "I foresee fire. Fire and screams." "You would, mate. You're a rocket launcher."

          • WotW lore makes it seem like we're firing Xol himself and kills from it actually feed it. I don't think that can be said For 1KV but definitely not ToM, they're more or less made from the enemy(s) demise and ceases to do much else but provide power. Weapons of Sorrow don't persei talk how you would think, more like influencing to either benefits or detriments( mostly the later ). I wouldn't consider 1KV to be such a weapon, Riven while taken is still itself. The reason you may think them the same is because ahamkara and the worm gods have similarities in their words. Still different species but hold practically the same methods of manipulation, which 1KV points out in its lore. Super Good Advice however does talk, or it was just in the mind of the crazed hunter Pahanin cause we have yet to hear it.

                  • <1. Traveler/Gardener - I believe they are the same entity, the Light being the power that makes it up. Similarly, the Darkness is the power that makes up the entity we call the Darkness. 2. Humanity's Dark Past - I think the humanoid statue in the Lunar Pyramid should be taken at face value, and that the true builders of the Pyramid Armada are ancient humans, perhaps engineered specifically to be an army after the failure of the Hive and Worms, or something more complex. Either way, crazy things are developing in my mind as we speak. 3. Tipping the Scale - I don't think the Traveler's death can stop the Darkness, or vice versa. I don't believe that balance comes from the death of the Gods, but the overall presence of Light or Dark. Therefore, killing the Traveler would leave the Darkness as the sole ruler of the universe, and Darkness would take over. The Light cannot be killed, and neither can the Dark, so whenever one's out of balance, the other becomes a minority. Like balance in the Force. The fact that the Pyramid Armada woke up when the Traveler did was just all part of the plan (whatever plan that is), not a representation of their dormant states after the Collapse. After all, the Armada had to get outside the galaxy, and the Lunar Pyramid didn't wake up when the rest did. In fact, it's mentioned that the ship has been watching us SINCE the Collapse, and is one of many reasons why the Darkness knows everything.>
