Is Spare Rations Worth Farming For On Console?
I’ve seen lots of opinions about Spare rations on console, tons are saying its just as good on Console as it is on PC but lots are saying service revolver is better because Spare ration’s kick is too much to handle on console, is spare rations the best kinetic legendary hand cannon on console? Or is it something else? Like Service revolver? Also wonder if i should farm for either Spare Rations Or Austringer.

Aim-assist Rations has among the highest aim-assist stat out of 150 HCs I can think of (92) and recoil direction at 100. Which makes the recoil strictly vertical without horizontal variation. Couple that with rapid hit + rangefinder and you can get even more passive stability and the highest effective passive 3-tap range a 150 HC can have (extra range from rangefinder), outside of Thorn I think (thorn's DoT compensates dropoff). The extra zoom from rangefinder will also increase the range aim-assist stickyness + bigger hitboxes are in effect so there's that. Again I'm not a controller player. But at least it looks like it would be the top tier choice, unless the recoil is completely unmanageable on controllers for some reason I'm just not aware of. -edit- why didn't i think this sooner, gonna start calling the gun Spare Aim-assist from now on lol
