Rework the mida catalyst

2 RepliesI think there are entire other weapons that should be looked at before the mida catalyst, but yeah, it's a pretty useless one. Mida is already very good overall and they probably were afraid of making it too powerful, which would cause them more work later trying to compensate. Legend in competitive is required too, so Bungie likely knows that a small amount of the playerbase would get it, and didn't want the Mida catalyst to become another Not Forgotten problem...or maybe it's just uninspired dssign, I don't know lol

1 ReplyIt's more of a trophy than it is practical. Mida is already one of the most statistically sound weapons in the game. Plus, if it was actually good, can you imagine how upset people who couldn't earn it would be?

2 RepliesMaybe an entire new perk or something. Perk: Precision Kills with Mida increase the users base speed by 10%. Each kill increases it by another 10%. 30% max. Something along the lines of that

Make the catalyst the old Battle Runner perk and make it a random drop from the Survival playlist.

These are the same people that let Feeding Frenzy \ Outlaw drop with a Reload Masterwork and before you could use sparrows on Mercury you could get a ghost that had the perk to bring up you sparrow faster and Mercury resource detector on it together. There is no rhyme or reason to some of these things. JMO
