Crucible is experiencing lag? Anyone else?
I’ve been on the forums A LOT lately... and... well... My connection is phenomenal. I consistently check my status while I play because my shots have been off? Either I miss while IM CLEARLY AIMING AT THE ENEMY or it takes a hot minute register that I hit. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? If so, I’m about to take one HELL of a break from this game until there’s a massive fix for crucible because this “skill based matchmaking” doesn’t work for crap and the crucible is being weird in general

Playing on the connection based playlist, I often end up playing against US based players. Problem is I’m in Italy and there are the mediterranean sea and the Atlantic ocean between my bullet and the head I’m aiming at. Plus, every lobby is a sweat fest, Indestructibles everywhere. This NEEDS URGENTLY to be fix, assuming Bungie knows how to, which appears not to be the case if you played Destiny in the last six years..

4 RepliesHas anyone had issues with quest progression specifically the Redrix Quest? 20 bounties complete and out of 22 bounties, ONLY 4 counted. And, yes the 4 were a mixture of daily and repeatable. Weekly bounties as well as some daily and repeatable did nothing to progress the step

The game in general is suffering from network issues if you ask me, I too also have a solid connection.

Oh god its horrible. Getting shot from around a corner happens at least 2 times a match, where it only used to happen once every couple.

Same here. It was a -blam!- trying to finish linear fusion kills.

Not to mention loading into a match takes a while. I'm constantly checking to make sure I didn't lose my connection or get booted from the match.

yeah, tons of lag, etc. I see my shots bounce off their heads. I'm on a 1G hard wired connection. I checked my connection and I'm good. However, I was lucky enough to still get UnBroken title last night lol During that, I'd see people glitching all over the map...pulled out Jötunn to ensure they couldn't escape death...perfect fix for those times.

Solid connection here. Some crucible games thanks to whoever is hosting my and my whole team even the enemy team goes full blown lag mode.

This is what we wanted according to Bungie's networking team. We don't want true dedicated servers! We want their endless connection errors! We wanted this wonderful P2P client based hybrid bs! Why can't you just have fun on what you wanted, Hector?! Bungie said so! Wololol da Bungie lololo!

Yea. For some reason I see a lot more Italian players now than before and the lag is real. I had similar problem with Polish players in Y1 but haven't seen much of them since. Not sure why the game keeps connecting me with Italians all the time this season. Nothing against the players from the countries but the connections seem shaky and I'm sure there would be players with better connection available yet every lobby has several Italians now lol

Very small player pool on PC (not sure what platform you play on) at the moment and the net code has always been poor. I am constantly being matched against people on the other side of the world, which results in a coin toss if my shots register. And there are more cheaters now since it became free to play. It will get worse before it gets better, I'm afraid.

It’s all the aimbotters currently on PC. Bungie are not even banning people because they need the numbers. There are a couple of posts created regarding bans but they are created by Bungie employees. The same hackers are still playing after video evidence has been submitted. Bungie is weak, these -blam!- need to be stopped.

26 RepliesIt's not just you. I think it's two things: 1, smaller player pool. Over 1/3 of people have stopped playing since around this time last year. Fewer people = less good connections. 2: Bungie doesn't have activisions servers anymore maybe? Seems worse since the split.

Well it got significantly worse since shadowkeep and each time they add new stuff. I flat out only play comp rn as theres less people to deal with.

yes.. match to match, day to day its either perfect or its so bad a blind person could see it. Waiting several seconds for kill registration which means those extra seconds, the opposition continues to shoot etc.. oye vey. However, that said.. pvp always goes through periods like this. Dependant on those playing, and the internet connections and whatever bungie has done to tweet MM.
