Iron banner just ain't worth doing anymore
I used to like IB because it was slightly challenging, but the quest steps this season just make it so much more of a slog to play than it should be, I don't like having to change my play style just for a quest but I get it if it's a primary gun, what I don't get is why rocket launchers were selected, it just grinds everything to a halt and unless you have one of the sweaty rocket launchers then you'll he stuck for a while

Doing this prequest Quest is an absolute fail. I have never felt more like a human piece of shít than going through the shotgun part. It is a gross defilement of my playstyle, and it feels like Bungie has touched me inappropriately. Still pissed about it...

I don't mind the quest step because I do enjoy PvP so I'm use to the chaotic mess PvP is in at this very moment. What I don't like is the lack of attention Iron Banner and PvP in general is getting. Also, seeing the amount of cheaters going around and a new wave of manipulation where players are literally spawning right in front of you and kill you in one shot is rather concerning. I say this because of the return of Trials and it will be a cesspool for hackers and cheaters.

Questline serves no purpose since no new gear to go for and most people by now probably have the roll they want on other gear. Getting the same armour again that I have the ornaments for anyways? Don’t care. Playing IB because I like control and hate myself. And hoarding tokens for that one time they might bring in a lot of new gear other than just a bow.

no reason to play after getting pinnacle gear. No new armor or weapons, and the weapons are bad for the most part. I haven't enjoyed IB since D1 personally.

I really think it's sad that we (well, maybe you guys, I'm not playing this IB), are grinding the same armor for a 3rd time, and there haven't been any new weapons for a while. The pinnacle gear doesn't even matter to me either. I don't play enough to boost my power above 2 or 3 anyway.
