happened to me on my warlock, quest disappeared when i loaded into the tower to talk to saint. now i'm doing the quest on my hunter, we'll se how it turns out once i get to the same step. edit: after i got to the same step on my hunter, saint gave me the update even though he wasn't markt on the map. i then could claim the quest update on my warlock aswell.

Same here. Quest gone on all three characters. Logging out and back in did nothing for me. I just cannot believe what a bunch of m*therf*ckingly stupid aholes the coders and qs at Bungie are. Every f*cking DLC and patch of this game comes with new (and old!) bugs and problems. And now this quest simply disappears. Even if this would be the consequence of the quest being timegated, calling this annoying would be the euphemism of the still young year. In that case it would be a proof what a bunch of socially inept autists the relevant people at Bungie are, how little of a feeling they have of what other people think and feel about their actions, their behavior and the way they treat them. If I would be hiring coders, and a former Bungie SW dev would apply to me, I wouldn't give his application a second look. It would go right to the trashcan. Who would want that kind of workers?

I have experienced this too. It also happened that I didn't get the first part of the quest last week for my warlock (but it appeared this week) and thought it was just one story quest across all characters. I'll see what happens on my other characters for the second part of the quest line.
