What do I mean by that? Simple. A nearby teammate dies, his killer gets marked by vengeance, and the wearer gets a bonus for killing him. I feel like this change would make wearing OEM not just an instant win, but it would help players in a lobby full of blueberries who keep dying. This requires you to stay with your team, however. It doesn’t just proc whenever a teammate dies, you have to be near them.
Don’t get me wrong, OEM is in a terrible state as it is and I am in no way defending it, but I just don’t want it to fall under the list of exotics in the trash heap (where it would join the Mask of The Quiet One)

5 RepliesEdited by DuBChiri2: 10/23/2019 3:54:15 PMGet rid of the health regen, decrease the tracking to 6 seconds. Done. The tracking is the whole point of the exotic and to go any further would kind of cripple it's ability to activate if you are doing anything but shotgun aping around. 6 seconds is still 6 seconds, but it ain't 8. Then since the exotic doesn't mention health regen at all in the perk, it shouldn't do it. If I had an overshield but was still critical, I'm likely still going to die, vs full health AND an overshield.

1 ReplyThey just need to remove the "getting an overshield" part. Not a single exotic in the game gives an overshield on something simple as a kill. It's completely broken in Rumble ----> Get a kill, move to the next person with an overshield, obviously win because you have a lot more health, get to the next person with an overshield, win, and so forth. Wormhusk crown was OP for 1 season, OEM is OP for 4 seasons now. Next Warlocks will get an OP exotic for 16 seasons. :S

1 ReplyEdited by Radahn: 10/22/2019 8:30:34 PMHow are people still using OEM..... When you can run -hit melee's ft. Synthoceps.

1 ReplyNah nah nerf the living sh!t out of it and absolutely buttf#ck bottom tree striker p.s I main titan
-
First actually real solution I’ve seen given to this problem. Unfortunately your a few weeks too late as the people who code the game have probably almost finished toning down/removing the exotic. I personally don’t like using one eye (prefer Antaeus) but this could have been a great solution had it been offered before the maintenance began on it.
-
Hell no, it’s bad enough to get punished for shooting someone by being marked, but killing someone else and getting marked is even worse. Imagine a full team running one eyed, if one guy goes down now you’ve got two people who know exactly where you are
-
What if it took away your radar while someone was marked
-
1 ReplyIt doesn’t change the main thing problem, which is -getting punished for playing the game- why should securing a kill grant your enemy a greater advantage? It shouldn’t.
-
2 RepliesVengeance shouldn’t activate until the user is below 50%
-
So been ages since I played destiny 2 on ps4 after warmind I left until new light was like why not since I moved to pc Played alot last 2 weeks and got forsaken dlc yesterday since I got all exotics from year 1 went to see xur guess what I got? the oem L O madafaking L Gonna piss people off on crucibooo Titans give forever 0 fks #fk almond milk

Edited by Leo the Grey: 10/22/2019 10:34:56 AMHonestly, all they need to do is make it to where if the Titan's shield was broken in the gunfight then they don't get overshield, but instead instantly recover their shield. And if it wasn't broken then you will get overshield, but your base shield recovers first. If you take any damage while the shield/overshield is generating then it stops. And lastly, after about 5 seconds after your overshield is generated it will slowly go away. Maybe 5-10% a second. Tbh, maybe all these ideas together is overkill, but I think even one of these being added to it's system would satisfy PvP players.

3 RepliesI'm of the (unpopular) opinion that exotic need to be disabled in Survival. That way, people can still have their fun in Valor playlists with slightly OP toys, which I'm all for. A ranking system with loss and decay needs to be almost like tournament rules.
-
1 ReplyI think if they just removed the overshield it'd be ok.
-
goes from "I shot you once, now You have my GPS Coordinates" to "I killed your teammate in a completely unrelated gunfight, you have my GPS coordinates" Doesn't sound too good
-
2 RepliesForget about the tracking and marking etc... There should never ever be an exotic that provides instant full health and overshield and higher damage output ever, fact! It massively lowers the skill gap. I'd rather them remove it from the game completely if they don't remove the overshield/instant health - it should give a portion of health back, it's not a great exotic it's basically cheat mode activated
-
what if it was just a titan version of foetracer?
-
Please nerf the ever living shit out of anything that makes us hunters have to work for a kill.

ALL HAIL THE MASTER RACE!!!
-
8 RepliesNo the mask would be useless on pve. And it wouldn't work on pvp either. I don't even want to bother writing it all down as to why that is.
-
1 ReplyFirst, thank you for proposing something. Second, like others said, a team of OEM and Vigilance Wing would be a nightmare. My thought: Remove the damage buff. If I have Vengeance and Kill Clip, I can drop people.
-
You say you don’t want it to be thrown into the trash heap, yet you propose a change that would literally make it garbage.
-
5 RepliesIt should just make targets. That’s it no shield no extra damage. Just mark who shoot you that’s it.
-
2 RepliesYou do realize tracking by itself is a entire exotic perk, what is this “bonus” you speak of because the current “bonuses” are what people complain about.
-
9 RepliesEdited by Spooky_Ari: 10/21/2019 4:25:11 PMNah, just remove radar when someone is marked so "vengeance" would actually mean what it says as you should only be focused on the marked target because of tunnel vision/adrenaline.👍
-
Edited by Nightmarity: 10/22/2019 12:10:07 AMIt wont have to join the pile of ruined exotics if they remove it from the game At this point, besides a total rework of it, that's the only way to truely fix it.
-
1 ReplyTrust me, that poor exotic is doomed.
