The Amount of Scout Rifle Kills to Obtain Randys is a Little Extreme
I realize Im doing this at once and not spreading it over the season.
But jeeze man. It's taking forever.
Could be cut by 25% in my opinion.
* Many people are saying that the medals part takes a long time but for me that took no time at all. Maybe this quest is bugged...

Bungie clearly has the wrong idea about what "Less Involved" means You can get Recluse and Lunas Howl in the time it would take you to get this quest half done.

It's 450 kills, which if you want to do in a couple days will be a pain in the ass, but I strongly recommend just picking off 10-20% per day. I think it's fine considering it's the only part of the quest that has to do with a scout rifle..

I did it in less than a week and yes it's ridiculous. I wasn't supposed to do it in a week. I was supposed to take weeks or months to get it.

3 RepliesThe kills are OK. The 14.000 points you need are too much. Single kills count for 1 point. Double kills for 250 ish points.

I have both medals and kills around 50% and got the glory done. It is taking a while but I finally found a few scouts I like besides mida and jade. I've been using vouchafe and conspirator and have been doing much better with them than jade and mida.

You will get used to rapid scouts that way and you can actually duel with that thing in midrange- this will allow you to play aggresive and chase kills a little bit better. Grind is worth it tho, if you liked the Scorpion, you will like Randy even more, the only downside is the kill clip instead of multikill clip. With the later Randy could actually be a decent pick for PvE.

How many medals do you need. I get a least 5 a game and it barely budges

4 RepliesThe more opponents you kill with a scout rifle before dying the higher the Final Blows bar. The rest isn't bad.

That part is easy, the nedals take a bit. You can knock it all out in a week casually.

6 RepliesI have been grinding hard every day after work. I am at 80% and I was already used to using Jade and Mida. Although it's no contest, Jade is the Superior weapon for the job.

Run double scouts. I used Mida or Nightwatch with Black Scorpion and got the final kills knocked out pretty easy. As for kills and medals IB seems to give more medals. I went from 20% to 48% in short days.

5 RepliesI'm just absolutely floored as to how there were people with it in the first few days. I think I got killed by one on the weekend after launch. I can't see how I'm doing anything wrong since I'm getting scout final blows, but the percentage goes up by one percent. Competitive (if it even is different) is no better.
