Clan title and tag bugged
On bungie my clan name is The Roman Catholic Church with [ROMA] as the clan tag. I logged into destiny and it says The Roman Catho with a tag of [Ro] anyone else having this problem?

8 RepliesHi there, Thanks for your report. We have deployed a server-side fix to resolve an issue causing WEASEL errors for some players. This fix truncates in-game clan fields for all Destiny 2 players. I'm having the same issue. My clan is The Walking Noobs [TWN] but in-game it shows The Walking Noo [TW]. Hope this gets solved.

Thanks for bringing this to light. Me and my clan are having this issue. Our clan is Dysfunctional Functionals [Func] but shows Dysfunctional F [Fu].

Some members may start leaving clans thinking the leadership has gone crazy and changed the name to something dumb. Bungie simply saying that it "will be fixed at a future date" worries me.

Oh yes!! Glad I’m not the only one. I made almost the same post not too long ago. We’re ‘Melee Moths of Holy Cloth[MOTH]’ now ‘Melee Moths of [MO]’ lol. Hope it gets fixed shortly 😂

Also having this issue. My clan is Guardians Against Ghaul and now on PS4 it’s Guardians Again. With the tag changing from GAG to GA. But on the app it’s fine.

Made my own topic just a moment ago, I should have definitely checked the forum. Having the same issue here and I noticed a few other players who have the same issue. Hope it gets fixed soon, kinda getting sick of seeing my clan title and tag to be cut.

Yup same issues. Clan: 'Dude Where Is My Light' is now 'Dude where Is M' ? Also our clantag 'Dude' has changed to "Du'. Guess it's just a bug and will be fixed with next update hopefully? #bungie

Same here, my clan's name "Anglachel Heirs" and now is "anglachel's hei" with only 2 of 3 Japanese simbols for "the flame one". Hope this hot fix came up soon.

It's not just clan names and tags, the descriptions have also been effected as well. Parts of our mission statement are cut out in mid sentences. Hope it gets fixed soon

2 Repliesyep. mine is also the same. should be "Phenomenal X Gaming" [PXG] and its "Phenomenal X Ga" [PX], and the clan motto is also bugged and cut off and just has "...." in the middle of a word. additionally, when i loaded into Shadowkeep, i had a fully masterworked Play of The Game that lost all of its masterworking and upgrades down to level 1, but still had the kill counter active. huh?!?!
