And this post proves you do not know proper grammar. Jokes aside, I completely disagree. If Bungie continued in the same direction, the game would have become even more of a joke. Right now, it is laughable that you can solo so many activities, especially things like Riven. The fact that you can literally PUNCH HER TO DEATH is just idiotic. I know there needs to be some level of power fantasy, but there has to be a balance with challenge. If people are 1-phasing a raid boss on day 1 with a modifier that limits your light level, then that is not challenging (CoS). How is that even a raid? The only way you were able to solo (or one phase) the raids in D1 was with a lot of practice, timing, and optimization, and that never happened on day 1. I remember when one-phasing Warpriest was a pretty huge accomplishment. And a lot of the 'solo raid boss kills' were very stressful, and if you weren't a self-res warlock, it made it 10x harder (that's a topic for another day). Everybody (and especially people like you) need to take a step back and look at what this game has become - easy mode with cheats on. Just look at any boss phase: Stand in a well that makes you nearly invincible, you never have to reload, and you just deal tons of damage. All of these things would be considered cheat codes in almost every other game. I am glad Bungie is reigning in the insane power we have now because it means they can actually design encounters, like Riven, without having to worry about people killing the boss before the fight even starts! So many people don't even know ANY of the mechanics of the Riven fight, and that is sad, because it is honestly one of the best final raid bosses in Destiny, up there with Oryx. And by the way, if you're having a hard time with EP bosses a YEAR after Warmind, then I'm sorry I will pray for you...
