I want to say something to everyone here quickly.
Your emotions are running high and you need to think before you hit that send button. Some of us are suffering from loss. Some of us are scared the manner of the loss will create the final push for others to get that love they may think they are not getting in this life.
What do these 2 things have in common? They both come from a place of caring.
OffTopic, we need to have a real, serious talk about this subject, but we need to let a bit of time pass to cool our tempers. Remember, we are a family and that means give & take.
So, here is what I propose:
First off, we only say Ben passed, we do not bring up the how of it. By doing that, it removes the "glorification" stigma.
In return, we stop talking about how this is wrong this week. We wait a week or 2, plan out our thoughts on this subject, remove all the inflammatory remarks and just discuss it peacefully, but without bringing up Ben's name.
Look folks, I cared about Ben and he was only 3 years older than my son, so this has hit me pretty hard. If I can stay calm and cool, so can you all.

1 ReplyI can stand by this without changing my opinion on the matter. I’d hate to see the death of a member divide the rest of us.
