Just sending someone, “GG”, or just complimenting their performance.
I know a lot of people expect hate messages from their opposition after games, but it’s always nice to send a brief congrats and break that expectation.
I know many people go through a phase a rage and they have to share their dread with others. I’ve done it and also received it, but we’re all better than that. We are all real people and although it’s a game, the people behind the avatars put effort in and we all appreciate a random “GG” after a game.

Edited by Mister Wrecked: 8/12/2019 8:06:08 PMThe best feeling I've had after a match recently was returning to Shaxx and picking up my Mountaintop.

Edited by Spooky_Ari: 8/12/2019 7:33:15 PMI like the messages I get saying "Trash af" because I didnt let the other team in a Doubles match get any kills. [Wish Ender will do that.]
-
The best feeling is to bag the guy who’s having a good game on the other team.

2 RepliesEdited by LouieMags4: 8/11/2019 5:58:57 PMLove this. Our community needs to reduce the toxicity and start building each other up. Instead of sending hate for a player going off, let’s congratulate them. Learn from your mistakes. Play better. Let’s up the skill/ performance by sharpening each other. I’m not saying things are perfect, by no means are they, but at the same Time, it’s not our job to balance the game.

The best feeling? Knowing I d****ed on erentil users with a Spare Rations. Hit scan scrublords....all of you users are potatoes!!!! 😈

I got sniped while hitting my golden gun, I was mad for a second then... it was an impressive snipe, so I let him know

Unexpectedly non salty post. I’ve been on the receiving end of polite messages after games recently and it always takes me by surprise. I get the notification that I’ve been added to a group and expect some hate mail, really makes my day when it’s not. I need to remind myself to pass it on to others.
-
I wouldn't know. I got tired of getting Idiotgrams, so I block all randoms from sending me messages. I don't really need the feedback anyway, I know when I do good or not.
-
1 ReplyIt’s good that you made this post. If I send a message, I always send out a compliment to an opposition player that played a good match. Like you said, they’re often expecting salt, not a GG. I’ll acknowledge the good, not bad. If I get wrecked, it’s likely the other player was simply better. I try to learn from better players. So try and stay positive people. It is after all, just a game.

2 RepliesI had a dude snipe me and another player with 1 bullet. I took a clip of it soni can remember his name and i sent him a GG msg. Although i was on the bad end of it as a pvp player i appreciate nice plays. He replied with a thank you and said he was upset he did not clip it. So i sent him the clip. We are now friends and play all the time, talk about pvp and trade tips and advice about pvp. Super cool dude.

It's also nice when someone you've been slaying sends you a clan invite. I generally read the clan synopsis (some are cool, many are weird) before turning them down. One day I'll find the right clan lol.
-
3 RepliesYeah I’ll never get those because people can’t dodge my Jötunn shots.
-
I think its generally better to appreciate good plays from other players.

26 RepliesEdited by TJ_Dot: 8/10/2019 11:22:37 PMI like when I calmly question people's motives for T-bagging and it's somehow crying/being salty. Like no, you did something stupid and unnecessary/uncalled for, and I figured you just needed to know. I feel like it strikes egos, I mean, why else are you gonna hump someone who's literally sitting still in Rumble because there's no need to win?
-
The best feeling is tea bagging a fireteam of three losers running some combination or Luna, recluse, mountain top, one eyed mask bottom tree titan. No GG is gonna compare with that. Embarrassing.
-
It's nice to send GGs in chat if it's a close game down to the final few minutes but if you just blew away the other team and you say GG in chat it's gonna rub off on people the wrong way.
-
5 RepliesI much prefer getting something like: "Haha noob teabagger no skill teabagging why fack your Mather idiot"
-
4 RepliesFor some reason GG makes people mad. I sent a guy GG after a good comp match. And it was like a trigger word for him. Long story short, he literally sent a wall of text for like 5 minutes.
-
4 RepliesYes always good to get no matter how well or bad you do......i always gg people that i always run into during a game ......and i do appreciate skilled players who are humble........i think geekermon is a great streamer to watch he is sooo humble and doesnt get salty with other players or opponents.....and think teabagging is so immature and dumb......
-
2 RepliesGG can mean good game or git gud, depending on intention. You probably should spell the entire words.
-
I got a message from a guy that t bagged me after using Norma warp to kill me that I was trash because I killed him and t bagged him back..does that count?
-
I love sending GG when it is a good game. But when there's a hunter sliding, hopping, and rolling around with a shotgun and no skill the entire match, I don't send GG Most of the time, I send GG to opposing snipers, especially if their shot is on
-
I’ll always says gg if somebody deserves it, especially for a close comp game
-
4 RepliesGood (or bad) messages to others do tend to come more frequently after PvP matches, but the other day I got random hate mail from someone IN THE TOWER! I mean come on, were they just jealous of my sick dance moves or something? *shrugs*
-
Sometimes you are more relieved the match is over
-
Had some 1 message me GG after game thought it meant get good , but he chuckled and said it meant good game
