1500 orb generated in total, 500 orbs in strikes, 200 grenade final blows, 10 gambit matches, 300 Cabal kills (admittedly not hard at all), and a slew of other equally titanic tasks..... I mean.. yay, grind? But Christ Almighty, I got other shit to do, mate. Other games to play, aspirations in life. Drain my soul out when Shadowkeep comes, not for a single set of armor.

Tbf, the orbs in strikes can be done in a nightfall lost sector. I agree, still a horrendous grind.

1 ReplyOrbs are really not that bad, the freaking 100 EAZ boss kills is too long even with the ''cheese'' 25 patrols is also a bit annoying, 50 bounties is not that bad since you do most of the bounties by just doing other stuff. But omfg the 10 gambit is just painful.

A part of me wants to finish this and another just wants to give up and not even bother. But here's the thing, do I want to just run around in the game and just piddle around not doing anything or work towards a goal like completing this armor? I for one have decided i want to complete this solstice event. It forces you to do everything. Strikes, crucible, gambit, patrols, gathering material, and so on. I mean this is stuff you have to do on a regular basis everyday regardless of the event. Do I like the grind? No not really, but its achievable. I do not Like the EAZ map, it's too cluttered with with walls and buildings and overall meh. But good luck to everyone and i hope in the end we all get to stand together in our solstice armor before shadowkeep.

You have a few weeks to do it. Not so bad considering people had it done in less than a day.
-
Most of these will be done by the time you are done grinding blue
-
13 RepliesEvery time I check back to see how destiny is doing I end up being so happy I quit a while ago.
-
6 Repliesworst part is 25 patrols
-
3 RepliesHonestly isn’t as bad as people are making out! Got mine done within a day of broken play time . People will whinge about anything and everything . #justgetonwithit
-
14 RepliesI was fine with most of the objectives except the warlock's solstice bond. Seriously, Bungie? 200 arc super kills on guardians? TWO HUNDRED??? It's not impossible sure but that more aggressive than the Hunter set according to my friend who has already completed the Legendary Hunter armor.
-
8 Replies10 matches of gambit are what's really gonna get me salty though.
-
1 Replythe orbs are the elemental orbs....you will get that number far faster than you realize. Grenade kills may be a challenge somewhat, but middle tree Sentinel and say the Chest that gives 2 grenades instead of one Exotic, should make it easy, just fire team with some people you can trust, get strikes with multiple easy to die enemies that like to bunch up (Taken Thrall, Taken Psions, Normal Thrall, Dregs, Shanks, maybe Goblins).
Or farm it like everyone who farmed Windego >_>, load up that specific strike from the playlist(must be for it to count for the armor) by RNG Dice roll, with your Fireteam of choice, kill the Taken Centurion, and instead of going in that portal/door to do the strike, run to blind well, and farm, farm for those glorious orbs you so dear want.
2 RepliesSpartanLegend27 You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Yeah I will sit this one out, the crucible part is reasonable but the pve part is ridiculous
-
1 ReplyI am almost done, with my blue and haven't put much time at all.
-
You'd be surprised, after playing a few strikes and doing the 10 gambit (not Prime) matches. You'd have decent completion across the gear pieces.
-
5 RepliesIt's not like you have four weeks or anything
-
It looks daunting but it honestly isn’t to bad. I am over halfway done with my blue armor. I haven’t been no lifeing it either. Since Tuesday I have maybe played 12 hrs give or take. A lot of the grind flows into one another allowing you to be able to get a lot done at the same time. My boyfriend who is a lot better destiny player than me managed to get all his green armor and a huge chunk of his blue armor done in probably eight hrs.
-
It’s pose to be a month long grind not a week long
-
9 RepliesHonestly it's not all that bad. I've already completed two sets and plan on starting the third after work today. Most of it is mindless grunt work that you can do with your headphones off. I've been watching some shows I've needed to catch up on as I've done it. The real killer is the 100 mini bosses. That task takes about as much time as the entire rest of the armor, which -blam!-ing sucks.
-
1 ReplyI don’t like that you have to pick up orbs for them to count.
-
2 RepliesI'm really happy shadowkeep was delayed. I'm gonna need a break after solstice is over.
-
Its not bad. Just pick away at it slowly, you have 3 weeks.
-
11 RepliesYou know, I don’t think it’s all that bad but what ticks me off is the “defeat 75 guardians with solar weapons” . Are you kidding me, I average probably 15-20 kills with a majority of those being primary and super kills. It is going to take forever to get 75 kills in crucible!
-
I've already gave up on the grinding... "celebration" by grindings? Thanks but no thanks...
-
6 Replies300 arc orbs from strikes only? Do you know how fu_king boring and time consuming that’s gonna be? Considering the orbs literally last for 3 seconds!?
-
Green Armor: Eh not too bad, a bit grindy but doable Blue Armor: Yeah I need a new PC
