I miss sidearms and I'd like to see a buff. Nothing too big, just to counter shotties and fusions. Maybe make an exotic sidearm that resembles real life guns like a 1911 or an M9. That'd be cool.

6 RepliesEdited by l09047: 7/25/2019 8:15:57 PMthe problem with the sidearms is the range and hitbox. In order to consistently land crits you need to be basically in shotgun range... does that sound like the place you want to be if you don't have a shotgun ?

1 ReplyThey're fine Last Dance hits 33 a bullet to the head. Thats 99 in a burst. Plus it has SMG range. This is the same for most Omolon sidearms. The other sidearms while not amazing still dont need a buff. Lonesome has 3-4 tap potential. The Hakkes hit 80 to the head. Definitely fine in PvP man. And PvE wise I have literally been able to kill 2 dogs with in Levithan with a random old sidearm. If they can do that, even if its just Leviathan they are most certainly strong enough.

9 RepliesSide arms can burn in hell. -Shifts eyes to a dusty wormwood-

1 ReplySmugglers word with tap the trigger is pretty good. Outlaw/dragonfly last dance is surpisingly good on pve Last of the legion aint too bad either 18 kelvins is really good also. Probably one of the better none-burst sidearms.
-
4 RepliesSide Arms are already fine. They're incredibly consistent. It's just that their Range (by design) isn't worth taking over a Pulse or Handcannon. The only time someone would logically run a Side Arm is with Sturm. And Drang is one of the best.

Drang with high cal rounds/full auto/swashbuckler Shotguns - don’t run around corners blindly/make them come to you/keep your distance Fusion Rifles - if you see the glow of the charge up do not go into ADS as it makes you an easier target to hit, move, then shoot after they do
-
1 ReplyLast Dance with Full Auto and Tap the Trigger is the only sidearm I will ever need ;)
-
I mean, I got a Last Dance with Outlaw/Killclip - and pretty much all stability mods, with a Stability masterwork. So long as I can see the shotgun coming, I can use it to deadly effect in crucible/iron banner. Even got a triple down with it. I can even out gun The Last Word as long as I'm not blind sided.

1 ReplyGive me my trespasser back and I’d be happy. I was -blam!-ing people up on the regular in D1 with that thing.
-
1 ReplyDrang + back pedal = shotgun proof
-
2 RepliesI got a full auto and kill clip crucible sidearm the other day and I've been beating recluses with it.
-
2 RepliesNooooooo thank you keep that End of life D1 meta outta here.. ..

3 RepliesExotic Sidearm: A -blam!-ing Gun Literally just a Glock 21 with the most realistic detail in game, 4K definition. One shots literally everything. Bass boosts and screen distorts when fired, effect increases as magazine gets lower.
-
2 RepliesDude, my drang (b.) with EotS and rampage just destroys anything in its path. Rat king also exists. Free invis on kill + healing if you have the catalyst. Not that i’m saying that there shouldn’t be more exotic/legendary sidearms, because a pinnacle sidearm from vanguard would make my season :)

2 RepliesI believe I'm the only one that liked dreggs potato 🥔

3 RepliesAm I the only one that thinks sidearms should never have been added? They fit the same niche as an smg just slower firing and all they do is create a balance dilemma.
-
Some visual recoil reduction is the only buff they need
-
And here I thought they were actually great
-
Back pedal.
-
5 RepliesIf I'm not wrong, the Anonymous Autumn is the closest resemblance to a real life sidearm at this moment. It looks like the USP Tactical 9mm.
-
Use rat king with catalyst.
-
Smugglers Word with Kill Clip is the best
