Bungie you broke whole bounties and Crucible to fix players getting more than 4% discount for Tribute Hall?
That system shouldn't have been made in the 1st place. There are 3 characters, 12% each day not just -blam!-ing 4% for 20 days. and then we could get 7-8% then in order to fix that you broke whole bounties. This was such a shit move.

3 RepliesSometimes I wonder if they actually do gameplay tests before releasing content. Yeah I know, game development is a tricky business, there are bugs around every corner, but it seems like every time Bungie makes a patch to fix an issue they break 5 other things.

I don’t mind it. Not every players has 3 characters and the reward is only a cheaper route to everything. It seems to me that they offered players a choice: get everything straight away at great cost or grind the bounties long term for something cheaper. Themis is the framework they laid out and it’s up to us as players how to go about it. Personally, I blew through loads of resources to get the Juju and now will just complete the bounties until I have max discount. This will for sure take me longer than 20 days as I don’t do every bounty, every day but I’m ok with that as the catalyst is something I will just obtain over time. If I could do it all again, I’d even take this approach for getting the Bad Juju in the first place and would have a lot more materials.

3 RepliesThis is a confusing take. The discounts are optional. You can spend the materials at any point to obtain the tributes if that is important to you. 20 days isnt that long of a wait. You had to wait longer to get the Whisper catalyst and Outbreak Catalyst. Wish Ender tied to Shattered Throne required cycle waiting as well (3 weeks) This seems more like salt and impatience.

The rant is a little confusing. Are you saying that because there is only 4 bounties per day and that sometimes the bounty is crucible related it's hard to get them done due to the invisibility glitch? If you have more than 1 character (which it sounds like you do) you don't have to do all 4 bounties on one character. You can do any combo of bounties across all your toons. Like the get 25 precision kills in a strike can be done once per character to get you 3 boons. I did the crucible bounty a couple of times and realized I didn't have to do it to get my full 4 bounties done per day.

Not sure what they broke. Once I had placed my 45 tributes I noticed I was able to do more than 4 tribute bounties a day. Thought it was originally set up that way. Just noticed yesterday it was back to normal. Not something to cry about and my impression is crucible has always been broken.

Just noticed actually said discount in title..... Read OP and thought meant for completing triumph, so 80 bounties = 100%. I'll go back under my rock....
