I don’t raid often, so when I do I’d like to get raid gear.
Tonight, for example, I got a dupe two-tailed fox and missed out on raid loot.
Please either make exotics drop in addition to raid loot, or take them out of the loot pool. Maybe make exotics have a chance to drop from bosses, not chests.
Edit: this is just my feedback, soooo no need to stretch ePeens here. I really don’t care if you raid a lot and view me as a casual. Video games literally mean nothing to me besides fun.

1 ReplyI see a lot of comments on this post, and while I agree the post could have been worded a lot better I do agree somewhat. For instance on my first CoS run I finally downed Gahlran, was super excited and got... Lion Rampants, an exotic I’ve had since vanilla. It can feel underwhelming at times, getting an exotic you’ve probably had for ages over a potential new gun. What I think could be done is make it so you can’t get exotics you already have, or maybe an option to disable getting an exotic instead of new raid gear.

1 ReplyJesus Christ I can’t even take this post seriously 😂

4 RepliesYou’re complaining about getting exotics? I think I’ve seen it all. Someone shut down these forums, people are running out of things to complain about

Edited by Droidanomix: 7/15/2019 4:42:46 AMMaybe keep them in pool as a bonus drop or a guaranteed new exotic but not in place of a raid drop. That sucks.

In leviathan they dropped with your loot

Actually this is a fair point. I would prefer raid loot over any exotic, ever.

I raid a lot and can agree, getting an exotics that isn't for that specific raid is really fking annoying and should only be in addition.

exotics make good infusion material at the very least

12 Repliesit's your problem for being casual buddy !! stop whining , and play the game.

People still care about raids?

Nothing beats the feeling of getting your 15th copy of aeon safe

i would love a two tailed fox, gimme your luck

We’re listening to you, so we’ve now decided to remove the exotic chance during the last encounter of a raid. Thanks for the feedback!

Must be just bad RNG. I played SOTP twice, last week and this week The first time I got a trench barrel threat level, tempered dynamo (my new favorite fusion), and 2 rocket launchers The second time I got helmet, gauntlets (w/ enhanced sg loader and sg scav), boots, and mark So now I'm fully kitted out in SOTP gear except my chestplate, and I'm looking for a better roll on the rocket launcher (but I can use Hammerhead or and exotic)

I actually think that’s a problem with the game now: there isn’t any activities that have a consistent chance for exotic drops. In D1 there was always one or two raid chest/encounters that had a decent chance at dropping them, Nightfalls consistently gave exotics, and we had the flawless chest in Trials just to name a few. In D2, the only real consistent exotic drops are the final encounters in raids, which are only sometimes consistent, and only drop the raid specific exotic 9/10 times. While nothing is ever guaranteed with RNG, it was nice knowing you had a decent chance at loot you wanted, which added a layer of suspense to completing an activity, along with my excitement for getting an exotic being a lot higher than it currently is now. I love that we have quest to earn many exotic weapons now in D2, but to me, the excitement from an exotic drop is kinda gone.

Edited by Wardog Keith: 7/13/2019 3:26:04 PMYeah I agree. It should drop along side your raid gear. Raid exotics are obviously different.

So you want your Raid-Gear from chests, not from encounters? That's kind of wrong. Encounters: Raidgear, Chests: Rng. Totally fine for me.
-
Maybe they can transfer all the exotic drops to patrol instead then you can have your raid gear how’s that work for you?

1 ReplyDid Last Wish for the first time afew weeks ago. Got a Sweet Business.... Like what? Lol that was the last drop from the raid I got. The loot economy for raids is broken compared to D1
