Don't preorder Shadows Keep
Buy it day one at the earliest. This is my suggestion. Bungo Stray Dogs are good at marketing and making us want shit. But that's all it usually has been: shit. Do not pre order. Wait till week 2 once people have a feel for what the dlc actually is. And by people, I mean streamers and the YouTubers.

Right there with you. Bungie charged me $60 CDN for the "Annual Cash Grab" and gave me back $10 CDN in new content. Won't be ordering it and will not be ordering D3 either.

I dont preorder anything now, not like they will run out of anything digital is it. Oh no I might miss out on a emote and shader that costs a quarter of the full retail price..... Most games are discounted within a week or 2 now aswell no point getting games on launch anymore

That mentality is the problem Wait until the streamers tell you stuff.... Streamers are the ones that got us into this mess. The whole gaming industry and community as a whole need to cut that cancer out once and for all

10 RepliesHonestly, streamers and YouTubers are the cancer of the gaming community. Literally, all these massive games are built around what THEY want. THEY get these games early, for free and THEY get flown out, listened to, praised and in most cases PAID. Meanwhile us peasants that are paying full fûcking price for the game end up getting ignored cast to the side and given the straight up short end of the stick. These goddamned YouTubers and streamers can all go to hell.

I'll be preordering the Collector's Edition the next few days or weeks. Not because of this post but because I support the hardworking developers and understand/have-seen they're working towards better things and are listening(there's bound to be a good variety of things come Season 8 as they hinted to stuff and I KNOW they'll be adding more details over the Summer). You go ahead and be hesitant. I've had over 200+ days played throughout both D1 and D2 so I've gotten every pennys worth of return from what I've invested in them so I'll continue to do so BECAUSE THAT'S HOW GETTING CONTENT WORKS. YOU PAY FOR IT.

3 RepliesThese posts looks so similar to each dlc release. Someone makes a post to be skeptical of the upcoming dlc. People comment that they will be purchasing it regardless. Few months later those same people are complaining about the content. It's amazing to watch lol.

3 RepliesFor me, Bungie has to prove that they respect the way people play the game and the time investment that is put into the game. I've never seen such a petty, spiteful, overbearing, micromanaging development studio that nerfs weapons and armor because the game isn't played the way they want or because content is being cleared easier that they anticipated (for PVE). But ironically, it's clear that Bungie doesn't even play their own game, because there's no way that the dozen or so under performing exotics per class should have even made it into the game as is.

3 RepliesThe issue with your advice? I've mostly enjoyed the game. I enjoy most of the content. I've played since D1 Beta and continue enjoying what they have been putting out. So guess what I'm gonna do? Continue enjoying the game and the new content.
