Not only this, just hunters in general. Hunters outshine both classes in pvp by a ridiculous margin - shut up - u know u use hunter because its op. Ive played all 3 character types. This is why every damn match 70 percent of people are hunters.
-
Time to go to get some new specs if you can't see the blue glowing hunter running towards you.
-
You’re gonna like hunters with Khepri’s Sting next season.
-
Nobody tell him about rat king... And invis’s effects for what it takes to get it don’t pay off in PvP. A dodge is the most efficient way for invis, but since it no longer breaks AA (I understand why btw) the best thing about it is that you get the crouching stance on peoples radar when moving full speed (that means you are pinged on the radar rather than a permanent red mark) If a hunter is willing to spec themselves to be a ping on your radar every few seconds than it’s just a good utilization of their ability. It’s something that not all hunters think is even worth it, and those that do have to build around it (graviton forfeit, paragon mods, etc.) to make it so.
-
the only time invis was “OP” was when nightstalker invis broke aim assist off of them and you could rush with last hope.

4 RepliesInvisibility isn’t even that good. It’s not even true invisibility, you can still see the Hunter in the same way that you can see stealth vandals. Does very little for the Hunter unless you don’t even move, which is death sentence in Crucible. First time I’ve heard someone whine about invisibility since it got nerfed very early in D2 Y1.
-
3 RepliesI'll have what you're smoking, please. Invis isn't even good, all it does is hide you from the radar and maybe make you marginally harder to see. Seriously, I wouldn't completely laugh you off if you'd complain about one of the extremely few good things on Hunter but invis? You have summoned me.

Invis is literally not op. And I play as a Titan. I compete just as well as a hunter. I don’t think Hunters are op in crucible by any means.
-
Playing field is already even if invis bothers you that much which it really shouldn’t use rat king and shoulder charge my guy. Other than that fix your brightness, get some glass, and open your eyes cause they aren’t hard to see
-
Yes, i know, i have almost all of my time on a hunter, and its my best character currently. I'll tell you know, i main a warlock. So i have little bias to share with you. Here is how you beat them as warlock when they're invis: Use empowering rift if at long distance so when the firefight starts, you have so much more dps. You can use arc souls to see them. You can use Divine Protection to get more upper hand. You can use a subclass of which super activation damages below you to yeet them. As a titan, you can: Barricade so they have to go behind to hit you. You can prep a shoulder charge to meet them. You can even shotgun them out because you have more resilience. As either, you can use attacks that burn your enemies such as grenades, Thorn Mark of the Devourer, Polaris Lance Perfect Fifth, to add to their already glamourous sparkly visibility. List continues. Congrats, and i play characters other than hunter. I am not salty, but im tryna help you buddy. Maybe turn your resolution up? Because it can be potent if you dont just look for sparkles

Invisibility isn’t even invisible, it just turns you blue. Also technically you guys can also get invisibility through rat king. Where’s the exotic that gives me a Warlock or Titan exclusive ability? Anyway what exactly would you have Bungie do to Hunters and invisibility this time, your highness? Clearly all the past nerfs just aren’t good enough for you. Bungie keeps nerfing them and yet their numbers don’t change so clearly the nerf route doesn’t work. Another season another Hunter nerf I guess. You want invisibility to go to other classes? Okay, we can do that. However in that case everyone should get Shoulder Charge, and everyone should get Arc Web.

7 RepliesEdited by Doctor_Roidberg: 6/2/2019 9:43:04 AMGet rid of shoulder charge or give it to other classes. See doesn’t sound fun when the shoe is on the other foot does it? ShUt Up YoU plAY TeEtOn beCAuSe yOU knOw ItS oP And for the record Hunters are prominent due to their versatility. Best movement ability (super Mario time) as well as ability to perform well in both PvP and PvE. Titans are only good at PvP right now. Warlocks are really only good at PvE. Buff Titans in PvE and Warlocks in PvP.

6 RepliesWhy do you have to make us titans look bad, hunters have been -blam!-ed the most and really only ride on popularity. Win Rate and KDA are pretty much inline across all subclasses on console. Smfh of all the things to -blam!- about its invis, it's bad and so easy to see compared to D1 and early D2.

But invisible players are so easy to see, and many of them don’t realize you see them until it’s too late. Outside of Hunters mid-super, I reckon I kill more invisible Hunters trying to run up on me than kill me. Because invis outside of supers doesn’t last particularly long most people are going to use it to either try to escape death or to stealthily close the distance for a shotgun attack. Truth be told, a lot of Hunters who use (non super) invis offensively are kinda sloppy at it. They activate stealth mode and then run out into the open making a bee line straight for you, hoping you don’t see them. Because they have to refrain from firing to keep invis up, you get to initiate the fire fight which gives you a better chance of winning said fire fight. The scenarios when I tend to get killed by invis Hunters more often than not are: • Hunters using invis while their super is active. Sure, I see them just as easily as any other time, but they can close the distance quite easily and have super armor, so I’m often not in a good position to kill them. • An invis Hunter packing a shotgun who steps out from around a corner right in front of me (generally in this scenario it’s not so much the invis but the fact that they’re not showing up on radar that is truly deadly here). • A Hunter who runs invis and also happens to be much better than me at pvp (you don’t need invis to kill me, just be better than me, which isn’t that high a hurdle). So no, invisibility does not need to be nerfed. cut out the middle man. just nerf people who are better than me at pvp. / (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

Get rid of guns and give them to other shooters.

Well you see on one hand C a p e On the other hand Painful agonizing failure

1 ReplyDust off your ratking!

An invisible titan... no just... no. Hunters have invisibility Warlocks have blink and huge amount of ability regen Titans have shoulder charge Each class has their own features that make them special. Imo we need more things that are exclusive to each class.
-
2 RepliesHaha chill bro. You just suck. IMO the titans are way op because of the one shot melees. Pair that with that stupid helmet and a shotgun and you just can’t lose unless you’re a blind monkey
-
In terms of abilities I dont think so but when it comes to core play I think the hunter outshines the rest. Their play style encourages agressive, solo play and their jump will always get you if they jump fron above, not to mention they can easily squeeze out of a tight situation.
-
Dude, just git gud (and before you come to say something because i'm a hunter main i dont play pvp that much and when i play it i use a titan the vast majority of the time)
-
I don’t play PVP because I’m an intellectual lol.
-
I dunno, as a warlock main I've never really had an issue with noticing an invisible hunter. Even with spectral blades, you can hear it coming. And I stink at pvp.

2 RepliesI use the Coyote chestpiece in gambit with my splendid invis hunter. Its awesome. I hope this annoys you.
