Having a timer on these missions just makes them frustrating, and impossible for 99% of the player base. The jumping puzzles make it even more annoying. Every time you guys do something cool, you ruin it.

EDIT: I got it and the catalyst.👌

This mission was great man coming from a pvp player who does not like pve that much.
-
Agreed. Not interested in timers and jumping there for not the slightest interested in starting the quest.

4 RepliesIf you want the fights to be easier, you can wait until next season when you’re higher power. That’ll allow you to put more time into the parkour. Just a suggestion.
-
Sooooo u dont have the gun?
-
The only issue I have with it is that the enemies are bullet sponges. It's just artificial difficulty when you inflate an enemy's health pool and damage as opposed to making them mechanically different. What I'll probably end up doing is just waiting until next season for the inevitable light level increase, and then go meme my way through it. That way there's less time emptying magazine after magazine on the same target, and more time focusing on getting the actual mechanics done. I choose the path of patience on this one.

1 ReplyReally isn’t difficult. You can finish it easily with 2+ minutes left. Pvp has its difficult weapons to obtain. Pve has its difficult weapons to attain. Adapt or move on.
-
I personally downvoted you because this is poor feedback.
-
You'll get it eventually, just because you didn't get it on day 1 doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the mission. It's a very fun puzzle to run through and way easier than Whisper. My fireteam (admins in my clan) and I got through it and memorized the puzzles, now the fun begins to help the rest of our clan through it just like Whisper. Thankfully the quest is always active from the start this time.
-
It's just annoying that bungie idea of challenging is having a bunch of bullet sponge enemies timers and long jumping maze puzzles
-
It’s a difficult activity for a good reward, people liked the whisper mission, it was great fun and your actually felt pressured (one of the few activities in the game that’s actually difficult) same here with the outbreak quest. but the mission is 100% completeable by 3 randoms.
-
i'm fine with the timer to get the weapons. Makes it challenging. Should still be able to play through out though even after the timer runs out, just get no rewards from beating it. I think it would be really cool to explore some of the areas and take your time a bit to practice it.
-
3 RepliesDid it first try with a fire team of randos with no coms. It’s easy af.

Edited by ThePyrahmaniac: 5/8/2019 12:42:28 PMOh, would you have preferred to ride a unicorn over a rainbow, and dance with smurfs? It's an exotic, a life lesson anything worth getting takes effort.

14 RepliesI love jumping puzzles, I don't get what the problem is
-
I'm cool with a timer. As an older gamer I use the timer to gauge just how much my "skill" has deteriorated.

1 ReplyEdited by DrippyChimp: 5/8/2019 12:30:32 PMThis mission was fun. The one's that get your cussing at a monitor are the best ones. Was yelling my head off in the maze as that robot was chasing my ass down.
-
4 RepliesI have it. But I won’t lie, I got carried for the Heroic mission 😅
-
3 RepliesFunny, cause ive only done two runs, got to the maze on the second, having gone in blind, and i was having a blast. Just because you dont like them, doesnt mean jumping puzzles arent fun. Besides you can get a fireteam and start the quest to practice any time you want, which was the big problem with whisper From what ive heard, just like whisper it can be solo/two manned to carry an inept jumper, so don't worry, you'll get the gun without having to exert any effort yo improve your skills eventually, if you have friends.

I don’t have the gun yet but that doesn’t mean I don’t like the concept of the mission. Having a difficult route to a powerful weapon is great and makes them worthwhile. Now not every weapon should be like this but they aren’t. Some are pure RNG, some are just a grind and some are a mix of everything. The Whisper still remains my favourite content in all of Destiny. Great level design, intense setting, perfect music and an incredible reward. Hopefully this will tick all those boxes too and I commend Bungie for doing something like this again. A lot of players always complain about PvP requirements in quests (even if they can’t lose progress) and this doesn’t have that - it’s a unique setting and one I hope to get stuck into soon. Every player isn’t entitled to every piece of gear and the attitude that they are is just ridiculous and I believe it stems from D2 year 1 when everyone could get everything. I don’t want the loot to be like that even if it means there will be something I can’t get.
-
I agree - yes, it was fun the first time but that doesn't mean we need this everytime.

9 RepliesThis is such shitty feedback, it’s an awesome dungeon. Had an absolute blast last night racing the timer trying to figure out the quickest route to the bottom. You sir are trash.

4 RepliesEdited by RootilyTootToot: 5/8/2019 12:02:36 PMWe are trying to stop someone from stealing technology and getting away. At least this timer makes sense. Edit: I have the gun, so can I talk crap?

6 RepliesEdited by Obfuscated Lua: 5/8/2019 12:14:09 PMlol this is easy 1 guys whispers the boss and the other 2 just focus on killing ads just practice
EDIT: I wonder how many of the people talking crap actually have the gun?
Probably none.... I got to the boss, pecked down the first third of his health and the timer ran out... I can... Get this done............. I just probably won't...Tonight was kinda special that I had time to -blam!- around with lfg. Most nights I don't. And this was darn near a perfect run, hardly no deaths, everyone knew the maze after a few runs. People might come back to this game for the gun. For three days. If they don't get it in that time? They'll be gone. Hell. More people might be gone just because they're tired of being screwed... I said nothing. NOTHING about the timer on whisper. Because it was a reach back to destiny 1 having a timer. I freaking told people in no time at all toxicity was going to go through the roof because half the playerbase would want it gone and the other half are trolls. And what's it doing? Little by little. Yet another -blam!-ing controversy. And why. Why?... What good is it to artificially deny players a weapon just by being dicks about it? Do they think that this is going to save their game? For the last time. Nothing that has ever been broke with destiny was the fault of activison. You were all wrong. Destiny is in the state it is because bungie is incompetent. And I'm tired of this discussion. Bungie did not ask Activision if they could buy the game. Activision told bungie they were going to buy the ip or else and bungie had no choice.

Your edit doesn’t make sense. The fact that people that don’t have the gun are enjoying the mission means it’s a good mission.
